Lakeview Inn

I loved the historic charm of this cozy inn. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts were amazing! I could have sat on the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking Long Lake all day, it was so relaxing. I liked that our room overlooking the water had lots of windows that we could open and get a nice breeze in from the lake.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lakeview - last minute booking and it did not disappoint! Leila and Anthony are wonderful hosts - and the 3 course breakfasts on their front porch with views of the lake are not to be missed! We will definitely be returning when we visit Sebago Lake again.

The inn is ideally located for visiting the Naples Causeway. You can walk to the restaurants and various shops. The room we stayed in was clean and tastefully decorated. As previous reviews mentioned there a lot of rules and extra charges if you do not follow the rules. There is no housekeeping during your stay and you are responsible for your own trash removal upon leaving. The television reception was poor and the road below can be loud. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the porch.

Only stayed for one night but wish I never had to leave. Stayed on a Thursday night for a "Mom's Night Away", a Christmas gift from my husband. Saw the Inn online and knew immediately it was perfect. Opted for the early check-in. Received a warm welcome from Leila and had a lovely chat about the history of the inn and how her and Anthony came to own it. My room was perfect- spacious but cozy. VERY clean with every amenity I needed. (It may seem like an insignificant detail, but included with my normal fresh white towels was a designated black "MAKEUP" towel which I loved). Took the longest, hottest shower of my life and enjoyed the lake view from my room. The bed was huge and so comfortable, I slept like I was dead! Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. I rarely photograph my food before eating, but this time I did! The great room/dining area is so cozy and you can feel the history all around you. The worst part of my stay was check out because I didn't want to leave! My husband and I have already talked about planning a trip back together. I can only imagine running an inn is difficult work, so I appreciate every little detail that was thought of and the warm welcome and treatment I received throughout my stay. Can't wait to visit again! ＜3

Good location. Unfortunately that was the high point. Instead of a warm and friendly welcome, we were bombarded with rules by the passive aggressive owner. Room was dirty, including hairs in the bathtub. This was complemented by the pile of dog poop outside the emergency exit. Breakfast was an unwelcome combination of sugar and carbs, with little that would interest a child. We were unfairly scolded in front of others for leaving food outside our room - it was not our food, nor did we appreciate the lecture which took me back to my school days. The owners would do well to take a course in hospitality. We left a day early and that proved to be the highlight of our stay.

My daughter and I have stayed there a couple of times for me. I’ve gone to the folk festival in Naples on Father’s Day weekend. The owners are very nice very accommodating. The breakfast in the morning is excellent. It sits up on the hill a little and looks down over the lake. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful breakfast served out on the patio.
