I would give the Cosme extra stars if I could. We just returned from 7 wonderfully relaxing days in this very special place. It was our daughter’s graduation wish to go to the Greek Islands and I did a lot of research to find the perfect spot- luxury hotel, on the beach, on a small Greek island just large enough for a local airport, not too big or too small, and walking distance to a picturesque town. The Cosme checked every one of these boxes and more. I honestly can’t even begin to describe how perfect it is. The pool and beach area are quiet and relaxing. There were a few families there with young children, but thankfully they were very well mannered kids. There was also a number of families with high school and college aged kids. But, they were not the loud partying type you would find on some of the other islands. There were also a few honeymooners. All in all, it was a quiet crowd looking for a bit of rest and relaxation in a beautiful spot. The layout of the hotel is such that all of the rooms feel very secluded. We were in Ocean room 404. I think it is the perfect room. It is on the second floor on a corner overlooking the ocean with a large quiet deck. Our kids were in Earth room 201. They did not have an ocean view, but it was still very quiet and they had a nice little back patio. Some of the rooms have private pools, but I did not do the plunging pool since the main pool area and beach were so big. Beauty and location aside, what made this hotel so special was the people. Apostolis, the concierge, helped make our dinner reservations, get us from A to B, and pretty much preempted any question or concern that we might have. I never had to think or worry about anything. It was wonderful! There are also a number of people who may not normally get the recognition that should, because they all made our time special. First among those is the turndown service. I was unable to catch his name, but the gentleman that did our turndown service remembered that we liked extra water and took excellent care of us. We also really enjoyed talking to Evi, Elisavet and Batista to learn more about local life in Paros and in Greece, more generally. Finally, Aris and Thanasis helped make our wonderful daily breakfast even more wonderful. Everything was perfect from start to finish!
