«It was my birthday weekend and I needed a hotel that would comfortably accommodate my friends and I. The Mercure was affordable, while still having first class amenities. I enjoyed some of the treats at breakfast and really liked how spacious the rooms were. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only really inconvenience was the check in being on the 26th floor, but I would definitely recommend this hotel for large groups traveling to Nantong.»

MMichaelThis is fist time trip to Nantong, I choose this hotel cause many good review. And it is correct review.
- Reception man is very welcome
- Hotel is very clean
- Bedroom is looks new, and the sofa is actually single bed under it
- Bedroom is very quite, you will have good sleep at night
- There give welcome fruit in the room (thank you)
- Food in restaurant have many variation and taste delicious
- Laundry room have 3 set of washing+drying machine, they already prepare laundry soap, also have steam iron
- Gym room is very nice have several equipment
- near the hotel many local restaurant and supermarket
- overall service is much more than the hotel price
I Recommend this hotel for business trip, next time I will stay again if visit Nantong.

Location: not close to any tourist areas but it's in the same building as the metro station and a shopping mall which is very convenient.
Service: not much service to review since there's no check-in desk, cleaner etc. I had to contact the staff to find out how to do a self check-in. It would have been nice if they contacted me instead.
Amenities: I was disappointed. It's a beautiful room. I love the decor and I liked having a microwave and fridge. However, there was no stove, cutlery, plates, bowls, cooking equipment or utensils etc. When I have stayed at other self-catering accomodations in the past, all those things were provided. This meant I couldn't cook my own food like I had planned. I may as well have booked a hotel instead. It's very confusing because there was lots of storage for all the kitchenware and cookware. It's very inconvenient for me because I am on a strict diet after recovering from surgery and I still wish to travel, requiring me access to a fully equipped kitchen to cook my meals.
Overall: if you don't want to cook your own meals when traveling, I would recommend this place because of the cleanliness, location and the beautiful decor. If you do want to cook, then you will have to book somewhere else.
