Stayed while on a cycling trip. A unigue historic building incorporating some of the old industrial features but adding stylish comfortable rooms. We found the place very confusing, rather like a giant Escape Room. The staff were very pleasant but we found the restaurant over priced. We would not recommend this hotel for anyone with a physical disability as there are too many steps and narrow corridors to negotaiate.

Very nice hotel from the outside, but quite hard to get a parking spot available. The room was spacious and bright but it tends to be noisy in the evening with (probably) the noise coming from the restaurant on the 1st floor and also people that kept moving the furnitures for an hour (maybe again the restaurant?) . So if you want and need to sleep early, it doesn't really help. Pillows were pretty basic and not good... 4 stars hotel ? The breakfast doesn't reflect at all the 4 stars of the hotel and that was a real disappointment... no veggies, very limited choice of bread, viennoiseries, milk, scramble eggs are available but there weren't good. Lift available (after climbing a couple of stairs) to reach your floor, then you might still have a couple of stairs to go up or down - keep it in mind if you come with a big and heavy luggage. People at the reception were nice and helpful.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. It has incredible charm and excellent design features making it quite unique The restaurant is one to be recommended - just fabulous! There are only two points I would raise: 1. Due the the fact that it is an old building there are many narrow and difficult stairs to negotiate. I would suggest that management point that out when booking. 2. When checking out in the morning and negotiating the stairs to reception the chamber staff were throwing the old linen on to the stairs, making it real safety hazard for even the sure footed. This is a real problem!

Pro - free parking spot right in the front of the hotel - good grilling restaurant, meats were very very good and always crowded. You should definitely book or there will be no places for you. - big room, spacious and clean Con - the room we had was on the upper floor but we could here almost through the whole night, I think the jacuzzi of the upper room. - there’s a renovation downstairs at the time but in the morning like 8-9 am we can here it through out the whole building. - the room layout was pretty cool but pretty small, so if you need some help walking up or wheelchairs this may not be for you.

Many stairs here and there, even in the rooms. Staff not cooperative in many occasions. Noisy up to midnight, due to the internal restaurants and even parties organized in the hotel. I did not feel relaxed, I am very tired, since I was not able to sleep well.

The last place we stayed before heading to the airport after an exhausting tour. It was a nice choice in a converted tannery quite a swish building, surrounded by decaying elegance. For example the church next door. Best point was the bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a massive walk-in shower. The downside was that the bed was not firm enough for my bad back. Not the hotels fault, but it always puts a dampener on the experience. By the way, do take the cable car up to the citadel from the town centre. Wow!

Room was bigger than I could imagine, with a small kitchen, all very well The shower did not run the water off , and was not fixed after telling the reception. Parking is a bit off, and on sand The 2 restaurant are very good, a bit pricy but good

Stayed here for one night in early June after travelling around a fair bit of Europe. The hotel seems like a former warehouse or suchlike which has been restored and made into a very nice hotel. Comfortable well-appointed rooms yet still what we Brits call "olde world" style. Very friendly and polite staff. There is an adjoining restaurant on the ground floor which looked very inviting, however, we chose the upstairs restaurant which was more of a grill including steaks and some very large and delicious lamb skewers! But you have to book this restaurant because it is open to the public and got full very quickly.

Very modern and stylish rooms in a very old building. Parking can be bit of a problem, but otherwise it was a very nice place to stay. spacious room, good selection for breakfast. did not try the restaurant but it looked good.
