Omorfi Poli

Nafplion is a highlight of any Greek holiday. Staying at the Omorfi Poli makes it so much better. This is our second stay in the last few years and we do not regret our choice. This time because we are staying for 6 nights I requested a studio room. Turns out it was an excellent choice. We have a beautiful, spacious room, simply furnished with excellent air conditioning. The bed is extremely comfortable, the street is silent and has the addition of a small kitchen, not that one needs it with the abundance of beautiful local restaurants. The people that own/manage the property are the friendliest you could meet, as are most Greeks. Breakfast is buffet style, is fresh and plentiful. Who doesn't like Greek yoghurt? Finally, for the price this is a terrific choice.

It is a nice boutique hotel, clean and cute. The rooms are on the second floor, be ready for a few steps up. The room is very setup beautifully and equipped with tea and coffee. The shower is on small side and it will be too small for a 1.8m man. It is located in old town and close to restaurants and walking distance to public parking lot

Nafplion is a gorgeous city and this place is a great choice to spend your time here. Breakfast was lovely, the staff and owners very welcoming and the house itself has so much character and history. Parking is free in the port, but be aware, not in the area near to where the boat trips depart for the island. We found this out to our cost, a 20 euro fine. It was on a weekend so were unable to pay the fine in person, but special thanks to the owner, who offered to take the payment himself. A lovely touch that saved us stressing.

This small pension is lovely, incredibly clean and high attention to detail. The breakfast in the Bistro is wonderful. High quality ingredients all prepared with care and presented beautifully. The staff are friendly, quietly spoken and kind.

The small hotel is located on a corner in a lovely section of the old city of Nafplio. Easy to spot because of the cascade of bougainvillea hanging from the roof, it was a very short walk to the seaside. The owners were extremely helpful with advice, luggage storage after checkout, restaurant recommendations, etc. We stayed in one of their lovely apartments rather than in the hotel. The apartments were located just around the corner on the second level with a sweet little balcony so we could watch the comings and goings. The apartment was compact but had a bed, sofa, tv, little table for dining and small kitchen. It was spotlessly clean and quite comfortable. The highlight every day was the breakfast served at the hotel. It was an amazing array of wonderful breads, eggs, fruits and vegetables. We ate every day at a table outside the hotel in a lovely patio. There was wonderful coffee and juices and absolutely the best orange juice I have ever tasted (and I am from Florida!). It seemed a really family operation and we enjoyed talking with the daughter who was there every morning to help serve. Nafplio is a lovely place to visit and a great location from which to explore the area. I am longing to go back!

Pension Omorfi Poli is an ABSOLUTE gem! It’s name means ‘A Beautiful Place’ - and its stunningly vibrant pink color suits the the hotel which makes it an easy landmark to spot. The rooms were spotless and smartly appointed. Oh, be sure to pre order the breakfast - you will not be disappointed! Conveniently located inside the Old Town pedestrian only district. Definitely not a corporate vibe - but a family business - who are as warm and welcoming as the summer sun here in Nafplio.
