The Serai Kabini

First visit to a Serai resort, and I must say that we were thoroughly impressed! Right from the rooms, cleanliness, amenities, location and nature surrounding of the resort, the quality and taste of the food, and most importantly, the service and the friendliness of the staff, it's all very wonderful, and made our Anniversary 2-night stay an absolute pleasure! The waterfront villas are very nice, and you can enjoy a very picturesque view from your hammock or the balcony while sipping on some tea! They also provide hassle-free booking for safaris, and have many activities which adults & children can enjoy. We got a unexpected surprise anniversary cake the night before our check-out, compliments of the resort, and that just goes to show that the staff and resort will go to all lengths to ensure you have an awesome vacation at The Serai, Kabini!

Our recent stay Serai Kabini was excellent !!! Rooms are charming and located right on waterfront and one can see beautiful birds and hear melodious bird song right from the rooms. Very comfortably sized rooms, beautiful glass skylight in the washroom , amenities well stocked and first time we got several savoury and sweet goodies and juices all complimentary in our rooms! Staff is extremely attentive and very courteous. Food is excellent especially the breakfast spread and the South Indian specialities in the a la cart menus. Chef was so helpful and gracious to suggest a special off the menu item Benarasi Bedmi Puri sabji for us! The Dosa at breakfast was to die for ; amazing taste! Safaris were arranged very smoothly . Enjoyed our free coraical ride. Naturalist Mr Shekhar showed us many birds during the Nature walk in the property and during boat safari and jeep safari. Enjoyed using the hammock ; reading books from the library and the beautiful ambience of the property , greenery and landscaping . Food pricing for meals was also quite reasonable . Would recommend this resort to everyone ! !!

The serai kabini is a must visit during the monsoons too. The property has breathtaking views of the Kabini river , the mountains and the forest. The property and the rooms are really well maintained. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The veg food is outstanding , the Executive Chef Sri Ramakant takes really good care of the guests. He prepared Litti Chokha and Dhooni wali Daal , it was delicious!!! The Safari experience was also great. Thank you Serai for a lovely holiday

Excellent stay. Staff is the best. Brilliant food. Do try out Spa. I liked the non veg food especially Mangalore fish curry, mutton curry and chicken curry. The quantity of the food is good You can have bonfire, it's amazing Overall excellent

We went for a family stay at The Serai and had booked 2 rooms, one villa and one verandah room. Both were river facing and similarly sized. We got two rooms close by so it was very convenient. Most of the rooms are in pairs and are a bit of distance from each other. It makes the stay feel very private and peaceful, one feels like you have a personal space with a garden. There is a hammock with every room which is a very cute addition. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The entire staff of The Serai is top notch, they were constantly taking care of our comfort and always with a smile. Right from checkin to arranging safaris to meals and right till checkout, everything was perfect. The entire team including Chamaraj, Sathish, Mahesh, Prabhath and the entire housekeeping staff including Shivappa, Manoj were very courteous and helpful. Saleem from the management team also called us a few times to take care of our requirements. Special mention to the Spa facilities, they were just amazing. We spent a very nice afternoon at the spa and went for a couple package called “Bliss” which was just perfect. Food at the restaurant is very homely and the breakfast spread is very nice. Safaris were arranged by the Serai team and it’s quite comfortable to plan them just a day in advance based on the weather. I read quite a few mixed reviews before going, but I can assure anyone going to the Serai - that they would have a great time. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay, weather was great and the entire family enjoyed the experience. The drive was just 4 hours from Bangalore so that was very convenient too!

Extremely eventful weekend spent at The Serai. Everything was perfect. The ambience is great. Rooms are extremely well maintained. Views are also great. I also took spa and romantic dinner under tha banyan tree. Prabhakar and Raghu were very nice to us. Overall great hospitality and experience
