Mykonos Waves Beach House & Suites

The hotel is new and located at Korfos beach, close to Ornos beach but very quiet. If you want to go to Chora, you need to take a taxi. It is perfect for relaxing at the swimming pool with a nice view from the sea and kitesurfers. Our suite was amazing and very comfortable: silent, higher, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, 1 kitchen. Filippa is outstanding! She did her best... she always responded quickly to messages via whatsapp and she also attended to everything we asked. The hotel provides transfer from/to the port.

We had a three bedroom house with a hot tub. Only 10-15 minutes from airport. From start to finish Philippa was very welcoming and knowledgeable. All the staff were friendly and happy in their work. The pool and surrounds were never busy you can always get a sunbed. There are two bakers and a supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Lovely restaurants. You can either walk into z Mykonos town which takes about 35 minutes or get the bus for 2 euros. You can also book George to take you into town who also is a member of staff who cleans the pool takes your cases etc. It was also spotlessly clean.

Excellent venue if you are looking for a hotel away from all the party / noise / crowds. It’s also in a safe and walkable area with grocery store, bakery, many nearby restaurant options and beachfront bars/restaurants. The staff (Filippa & George & cleaning staff) are so welcoming and friendly. They all work so hard to keep the property very clean and perfect condition. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable bed. Our suite also had a private patio which overlooked the water, very romantic and perfect for enjoying the complimentary breakfast that is delivered to your door. Waves is about a 10min safe walk to Ornos beach which you can sit in the sand, swim & rent sun beds. You can also simply take the water taxi from Ornos beach to multiple other southern beaches. This is a superb way to see more if the island without renting a car plus you get many more picturesque moments. Single beach round trip €15 each person or unlimited beach round trips €20 each person. We chose to only go to SUPER paradise beach for 1 day and this was an excellent choice. Read my review about THALAS TAVERN & BEACH. This was much much cheaper than alternatives and excellent food/sun beds at reasonable prices. Ornos and Super are southern so it’s not windy. Mykonos is a windy island (mostly from north during our stay), it is famous for this but most of the wind we found cooled us down from all the sunny heat so I would not complain about this at all…This hotel sits at a famous windsurfing and kite boarding beach…relax at the pool and watch these people launch off the waves 20-40 feet in the air. It’s amazing!!! This hotel even offers complimentary transfers (pick up / drop off) from and to the airport, port and their other hotel locations which is closer to downtown Mykonos if you want to your the streets and party. We stayed 4 unforgettable nights here and loved every moment of this part of our Greece adventure.
