Yi Hotel Mykonos

We were the first guests of the season and were given such a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. From our welcome lemonade to our departure 5 days later we were treated like close friends. Every meal we had was delicious, and our breakfast omelettes amongst the best we've ever eaten. The service was superbly attentive and friendly. The bar is fully stocked with anything you could wish for and their signature cocktails are delicious. The bed was vast and so comfortable - our room with a private pool was fabulous and had everything we needed.... one suggestion I would make is perhaps a few more hooks on the walls for beach bags, hats, towels? The hotel is beautiful, the styling and colours so pleasing and relaxing. I loved every minute.

Nice new hotel with good facilities. Clean bedrooms, modern fixtures and nice toiletries. We stayed here due to getting a great discount with the hotel being new. It was eerily quiet in early July and obviously didn't have many guests. The breakfast was fine but a very small room - when we were there the hotel was very empty and even then, breakfast was full. Not sure how it would work with a full hotel. The main issue is the design of the pool area due to the windy weather in Mykonos. The hotel is built as two parallel long buildings with the large pool area down the middle. This has essentially created a massive wind tunnel which was causing sun beds to blow off into the pool and was impossible to use without being blown away! Such a shame and meant that the pool was always empty. We tried to use it once and then gave up and drove to beaches instead. It also meant every time we left our bedroom for the evening you'd be completely windswept by the time you got to the car! The wind in this particular location is like a hurricane at all times. We liked the staff and appreciated John sorting reservations for us at some beach clubs. Overall nice hotel but not a great location and wouldn't stay there again when returning to Mykonos.

Hôtel neuf,au calme et à 15 mn de Chora. Le personnel au top : merci à John,Arvi et Nikos le directeur de l’hôtel, accueil chaleureux,chambre spacieuse très bien équipée (mini bar,cafetière Nespresso et capsules approvisionnées chaque jour, bouilloire, peignoirs, chaussons …)l manque juste des crochets pour les serviettes dans la salle de bain et la luminosité de la petite fenêtre situé dans la salle de bain,la lumière peut gêner le matin. Piscine extérieure et transat de luxe bref tout était magnifique, Pour le petit déjeuner c’est du fait maison pour les gâteaux, il y en a pour tous les goûts du sucre au salé comme le saumon par exemple..le personnel au restaurant très attentionné Merci Arvi et aux autres . Je recommande, j’ai passé un agréable séjour dans ce lieu magique.Le vent était un plus au vu de la chaleur et les plages de Mykonos on se croirait aux Antilles : eau claire et chaude sable blond et doré😎 Fouzia
