Majestic Mykonos

Our recent stay at The Majestic Hotel was unfortunately far from what we expected. Upon check-in, we received minimal assistance or information about the hotel’s amenities and services. While it was considerate of the staff to allow us to leave our bags at reception due to our early arrival, this initial kindness did not extend to the rest of our stay. Our room was extremely disappointing. The air conditioning did not work, making the room uncomfortably hotter than the outside temperature, which was already a scorching 32 degrees. Despite our repeated requests, the issue was never addressed, leaving us to endure the unbearable heat throughout our stay. The bathroom setup was equally problematic. The shower required us to hold the nozzle and hose ourselves down, which was more comedic than practical. Additionally, the towels provided were stained and unclean, and similar spots were found on the bed linens. The hotel lacked basic amenities such as food services or even a kettle, giving it more of the feel of a house with rooms for rent rather than a professional hotel. Overall, The Majestic Hotel does not live up to its name. It lacks the necessary comforts and amenities for a pleasant stay and certainly cannot be recommended for couples seeking a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
