"The hotel's location and staff are good. The receptionists Mr.Abdul Basit and Mr.Muhammad Bilal facilitated me in arranging trips to Nathiagali and Patriata. Besides they guided me regarding other stuff related to my stay in Murree. The rent of a room with the mountains' view is bit expensive for a solo traveller, and the same goes for the restaurant. There aren't any light foods options available in the menu. so irrespective of one's need, one has to order the full quantity. Due to this reason most of the time I ordered soup or chips. By the way their Brownie served with ice-cream was yummy. The complimentary breakfast was also good. It had a decent number of options for both desi and English breakfast e.g.pan cakes, French toast, paratha, Aloo ki bhujiya, channy, qeema, chicken, bread, jam, honey, butter, milk, coffee, juice, fruit, and fried/ boiled eggs. The restaurant staff was courteous and kept serving food on the table even during the buffet. I went for the said hotel based on it's rating in cleanliness, however it was quite compromised. The balcony and it's windows were not cleaned during my stay. The amenities tray in the washroom had hairs in it. The shower drain had dried foam. I was on the first floor and found the place quite peaceful most part of the day, except for two nights when there were some movements on the second floor after midnight. The guests were mostly families. One thing that put me off was when I was accidentally woken up by a call after 1 am inquiring if I had asked for an iron stand. When I looked out, the view was so beautiful that I could not resist sitting in my room's balcony. Strangely while I was using my mobile and enjoying the beautiful scenery a housekeeping staff standing in the balcony adjacent to the corridor started calling me madam madam initially I ignored him but when he didn't stop, I asked him what, he said APPKO BALCONY KI LIGHT ON KAR DUN. How can any one at around 2 am invade the privacy of a person and ask such a question. Overall my stay was comfortable and as per expectation."

"We ended up in Cecil after being turned away from our first booked hotel for being foreign so we came in slightly annoyed! Overall this was a lovely hotel to end up in - great building, friendly staff, glorious views across the Murree hills. There were some downsides with the room prep that delayed us leaving to explore Murree: One of the bathrooms we discovered had a nasty leak - the ceiling was bubbling and water was splashing over the toilet seat and on to the floor. We were reallocated a different room where there was a brown sticky substance onn the toilet seat and floor. The sink in the other bathroom was leaking. The kettle did not work and required a change. The staff were prompt at fixing these problems for us and very friendly and helpful but you expect rooms to be up to the standard of staying in especially at one as prestigious as this. Would recommend staying but make sure to ask your rooms are ready!"

"The place was nice and reasonably priced. We booked a room that was parted with a washroom. One side had a king bed with TV, phone, etc while the other side had 2 single beds, that's perfect for a couple with 2 kids like us. The washrooms were not pleasant to use and were constantly stinking. (The water itself was stinky in the washroom) this is why I have deducted one star from the rating. There is a nice little play area with swings and a nice mountain view. The weather was pleasant with random rain showers. There was an indoor playarea also but it was closed during out stay. Food was decent. If the washroom issue is fixed, I'd like to visit again."
