Tru by Hilton Murfreesboro

We had a nice short stay at the Tru by Hilton. We stayed in a King Room, which was a really small, but efficient room. The bed wasn't extremely comfortable, but it was fine for a night. Overall, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was good. Since the room was really small, so I wouldn't recommend for more than a night.

This place was an absolutely delightful surprise. Just happened on here while passing through Murphreesboro on a Saturday evening. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms were beautifully thought out and decorated. Definitely would stay here again or any of the other Tru venues.

I was bit several times by “some type of bug.” The first time I was bit, I gave it the benefit of the doubt I was outside the day before. It could have happened there but I’m still On alert. The next morning I would up with ten more bites between my thigh and elbow folds. When this information was expressed to your staff including the general manager I was dismissed. The general manager took it even further to minimize my bit up body and situation to tell me “ it’s the south” on two separate occasions. I believed he chuckled after saying it one occasion. I showed proof , pictures and in person and was made to feel as if I was lying and didn’t get bit in the hotel and woke up to itching. I’ve not been able to bring my luggage into the house. Had to ***** in my garage to make sure I’m not being infested clothes into my home. I had to get a prescription grade antihistamine and hydrocortisone to help relieve the itching. Very sad situation but demoralizing reaction from the hotel staff. Stay at your own risk.

This is a new-looking building in what appears to be a quickly-developing area of town. Almost every trendy food choice is available within a mile or so, and Tru is only about a mile from I-24. Full disclosure: I am not at all a travel-with-animal person. This facility is very pet friendly. To me, that's Strike 1. I don't like hearing a yapping dog in the lobby during breakfast, nor hearing one in the hallway, nor in a nearby room. (Grow up, people. You don't need Fluffy at your side 24/7/365.) But back to Tru itself. Very friendly and helpful staff, on time, well-stocked breakfast, large breakfast seating area, plenty of charging locations in lobby, comfortable beds, reasonable selection of TV channels (and the TV isn't one of those that takes forever to change channels after you press the button), nice shower with good water pressure, and good AC. But NOISE that's unbelievable. This place must be built of balsa wood. You can hear what seems like everything going on in the building. We had a long stay here. Early in the week (not so busy) it was okay. But starting Thursday afternoon/night there was what sounded like furniture being moved, loud footsteps, every conversation everywhere, and every door closing (all in addition to the yapping dogs). For the price we're paying here, I'd prefer a quieter experience. Sometimes I like to sleep in a little longer.

Wonderful hotel and staff! Stayed here June 15-19 as we went back and forth to Bonnaroo. Super clean , looked like new property with very friendly and accommodating staff! Thanks for keeping the coffee going at all hours! We needed it!

Room was clean and had everything I needed to relax. What made our experience even better was the customer service at the front desk especially this one front clerk Named Lizzie, she went above and beyond for my family and myself. I would recommend this place to anyone that is traveling and looking for a well establishment to relax and enjoy yourself.

We were expecting this hotel to be a typical Tru by Hilton. They are very nice, but this place is exceptional. They go above and beyond with friendly staff, spotless rooms, exceptional breakfast and great fitness center. The price is amazing too. It’s a short distance off the main drag, but we would definitely stay again.

We stayed one night on our way home from Florida and this was a perfect place for us. Everything was very clean.the woman who greeted us was very friendly and had a very nice smile/. All employés were friendly and helpful.

We always stay at this location when my daughter has a dance competition at a near by location. Always clean and breakfast is always so good. Amazing staff willing to go beyond to help you. It's close to many places to eat for dinner.
