Greenview Holiday Inn

Green View Holiday Inn is a good choice accommodation for those wanting to locate in Munnar itself. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms clean, the tariff quite reasonable. I can definitely recommend Green View. Nonetheless, one wonders why people want to go to Munnar in the first place, seeing as it is a famous hill station. If you want to escape the crowds and heat of the lowlands, see a sea of camellia (tea) plants covering every last bit of landscape, look out over the vast valleys through the haze, and even see an elephant or two, then this is a great place. Probably suited more to domestic tourism. But if you are foreigner interested in Indian culture, Munnar is not the best place to look for that. You can't even go for a short walk from the Inn without having to constantly dodge rickshaws, motorbikes trucks and buses. Eating is restricted options, and the town proper is one of the least interesting Indian towns I have seen. Having said that, the staff at Green View are helpful in guiding you to where you can experience the more acclaimed sites in this area, so definitely seek their advice.

Horrible experience if it’s free then also don’t book , bad behaviour of management when we complaint anything they threaten Don’t come in this place. The rooms are all wet and cold, in the morning there water on the walls because of the condensation. All of our stuff were wet

We did a fabulous full day trek with Ganesh through the tea plantations and up to some wonderful view points. Ganesh was extremely knowledgable about the plantations and provided us with lots of information about other spices and plants that grew in the area. We enjoyed our full day trek so much that we decided to book a half day trek for the next day! The price was very reasonable and the food was just what we needed!

Never never go this waste hotel bz We book room may 19 and reach 20 th payment time they told they have parking and wifi but after our site seing program when we reach hotel they didnt arrange parking we search many places but not available parking space at night and other matter morning time we keep our laguage in room when we open room evening our laguage wet bz of rain water comes inside room when we ask this issue they shouted us and behave badly they through our laguage out we told we will give police case so they give some money back , "this hotel owner deepak is not keralite " keralites never behave like this

Great trek experience with Ganesh for a fair price. Views were amazing and our guide Ganesh explained every plants and answered all our questions. We got observe the workers in the plantations. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel :) The staff is very nice and welcoming and they really did everything to help me organize my stay. They managed to find an excellent guide to go trekking the following day even though there was a strike going on and the weather was a bit cloudy (turned out, we had a shining sun when we did the trekking!). The hotel also organizes several types of tours to help you make the best of your stay in Munnar and there is a lovely cafe and a nice massage spa just around the corner. They also gave me good recommendations on where to eat, how much the tuktuks should charge and helped me with the WiFi. The room was clean and comfortable and the rooftop and common area was lovely. They are near the bus station so it makes it very convenient when you arrive. Ask for Ganesh to go trekking, he's a great guide and takes amazing photos!!
