Agnes Lodge

My experience with Food at the Lodge this time was not good at all. I ordered the grilled Kingfish with Ginger and My friend ordered the seafood fettuccine. My fish had no taste of ginger on it and the whole taste was off as the fish was not defrosted properly before it was prepared. My friend took one taste of the Fettuccine and never had a second. Basically it was not fettuccine at all from the taste. We were very disappointed that we paid a lot of money for a meal that was not worth the cost at all.

travelling back from gizo via noro, i was looking for accomodation close to munda airport for my flight out next day. agnes lodge seem to be viable answer, upon enquiring i was told i had only 2 choices one room with aircon for 950 sd a night or shared backpacker quarters 600 sd a night somewhat expensive but i needed a room, upon entering my 950 sd room i was somewhat disappointed by the lack of cleanliness the bathroom wasnt cleaned well, soap scum and mosquitos. not appealing the bed sheets were stained, the electric jug plug didnt fit the powerpoint. room looked worn and outdated. the restaurant was lovely, meals were nice with views over the water.

Thank you for a lovely stay. I was here for two nights, just a quick stay. Thank you for organising a lovely day of activities, snorkelling, visit to Skull Island and Lola. I also really enjoyed the bushwalk to the local waterfall and the WW2 museum. The accommodation was comfortable, and I appreciated the fly wire screens on the windows. I really enjoyed my stay, and will keep fond memories forever. Leana hola!
