This place is in a lovely location with amazing views to Mt Mulanje based in a tea estate. The accommodation is clean and authentic. The food is good local style with very good pizzas if you happen to be lucky enough to be here on pizza night. Service is very Malawian friendly and attentive.

We went to stay for 2 nights to relax over the Christmas break. The setting is breath taking and the accommodation is very clean and adequate. We found the staff to be extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. As for the food, breakfast is continental and we found it to be plenty. As we live in Malawi we realise how hard it is to get fresh supplies, but we were not disappointed. Dinner in the evenings is a set menu and again the standard of the food is high and the portions are plenty, it is based on a Mediterranean diet so is a welcome change. There are lots of walks and activities available but we chose to just relax. I guess the only disappointment was for our son, as the swimming pool was damaged in the cyclone earlier in the year. They do have plans to construct another one though!

Enjoyed our 1 night stay in this beautiful place (planning on atleat 2 nights next time ), the room was spacious with a lounge, bedroom and kitchenette that had a coffee plunger and the most beautiful tin mugs to drink from. breakfast on the grounds with the view of Mount Mulanje was breathtaking. Most importantly Florence ,her warm welcome and checking up on us regarding our pizza dinner was a highlight.

The experience was quite bad except for the views of the lodge. The food intoxicated us all with diarrhea, vomits and fever, the service absent all the time, to ask for anything you had to get up, two bed has bedbugs, the breakfast takes one hour more than we agreed with the staff, the water bottles that they are selling are cloudy. I spoke to the owner via whatsapp to explain it, and her response could not have been worse "we served food to other customers and no one complained, maybe it was something else". Of course we will not return since the owner believes that the fault lies with the clients.

The rooms are clean and the grounds manicured nicely. Only two rooms have mountain views. The food was ok the breakfast low end. The corn flakes stale. The staff are kind and helpful. Would stay again but would not be a go to place for me. The pool was not functioning.

I spent two days and It is really a good place ! The location is ideal to go to Mbiya pool. The view in the morning at breakfast is unique. A few meters and we are in the tea plantations. On top, Food is very well prepared thanks to an excellent cook Peter , and the service is great. I was in a bungalow, with a big living-room nicely decorated and a big room as well. The lodge arranged a service with a tour-guide (Comestar) that was perfect and saved me lot of time. I recommend !
