The hotel was right beside a beach via underground tunnel, snorkelling was very good, plenty of choice in the buffet. Hotel was clean and staff were lovely especially Nicholas I think his name was in the beach bar.. Evening entertainment was great if you had small kids but for older teenagers and adults it could be improved. Entertainment was really the only down side of a very relaxing holiday.

Our first holiday as a couple, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. On arrival at 1am the receptionist explained how the hotel worked, opening hours etc. In our room we were greeted by sandwiches, water and fruit due to our late arrival. The bed was very comfy, and the room very clean. Some peoples reviews on this hotel about being dated are somewhat true, but they do not claim to be a modern hotel. You get a standard European hotel room. There is nothing wrong with it. Housekeeping came everyday, we received new towels and our beds made. One day we had do not disturb on the door all day as we forgot to take it off and went on a cruise. When returning to hotel they called to check we were okay, and if we needed anything. The pool area was lovely, bar at both. The beach served a light lunch and drinks. The main restaurant was lovely, food was tasty and delicious. I found food to be different every night, mainly breakfast to be repetitive but I’m not sure how they would make it any different as they had hot food and cereals, pastries etc? There is a shop on the resort, staff very helpful and nice. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to benestis and Corfu town, it’s only €2 and they have a timetable. There is a small restaurant further down, but we didn’t try as it’s amongst the trees. One major thing to be aware of is the wasps! It’s more a Corfu island issue than the hotel, but I had no idea they were so bad. This is due to lack of research on my behalf. Our flight home was early Monday morning, we asked if we could keep our room past check out on Sunday and this was not a problem. The staff at this hotel are the best I have come across, very welcoming and kind. I would recommend this hotel and will be returning !
