Stayed here for 1 night payed £75 so wasn't expecting much. But what a beautiful hotel and all the staff were first class I would stay here anytime and highly recommend it.I will definitely will stay here again. Great fir getting to livingstone outlet

Upon arrival the hotel is beautiful from the outside and the free parking is a bonus. When we went to check in we waited for ages and no one appeared, we had to press the ring door bell outside and eventually a lady arrived to check us in. We had called over a week ago and asked if we could check in early, when we told the lady this she said she hadn’t been made aware that we called but she did still let us check in early, I asked if the hotel had a lift and it felt like she took offence at me asking because the building is “SO old” okay I’m not a mind reader, it was a simple question and we have stayed in old buildings before that have lifts. Room was on the top floor, had to lug heavy suitcases up, the room was small but comfy, it was a hot day and was disappointed to find no fan in the room so we had to leave the window open all night and was woken by people outside talking. The bathroom was awful, you couldn’t swing a cat and the water pressure was the worst thing we have ever experienced in our lives, at one point the water stopped working all together, you also had to turn it on and leave it 10 mins to heat up. We also got woken up 2 days in a row by the loud slamming of the other doors from the rooms, the bed was comfy with nice bedding but the TV only has about 5 functioning channels. Check out is 10am which is bizarre, you have to pay £10 extra to stay until 12pm and of course there was no staff when we checked out. The best thing about this hotel is the location! It’s a stones throw from the train station and has a small highstreet with some nice shops! Even though it wasn’t a great experience, we would go back and maybe book a larger room on a lower floor because the location was excellent for what we paid, if they could get the staffing and water situation sorted out it would rate so much higher!

La iluminación del edificio es muy sutil. Sólo una mano y toalla de baño en el baño y, aunque había más en el fondo de la cama, no sabíamos dónde encontrarlas hasta que nos demos cuenta. Estaba en el duche antes de darme cuenta de que no había una segunda toalla y que era demasiado tarde para la recepción. La reserva tenía 2 nombres para la habitación, por lo que habríamos esperado toallas adecuadas en el baño o visibles en la habitación en lugar de bajo la cama.

Trabajo como cirujano que libera a Escocia y Europa, y fácilmente las camas de lujo que habitualmente me quedo en estas incluyen Holiday Express, Premier Inn y Travelodge. He estado aquí alrededor de 4 veces desde septiembre ahora quedando hasta un mes a la vez. El personal no pudo ser más útil - desde los juniores (Cat y Gaby) y los seniores (Alan y Lee) como regulares de posición (He omitido los otros nombres como el turno y la pérdida de memoria) No he tenido nada más que un servicio instintivo y no tengo quejas sobre cómo me he ocupado. No estoy seguro de lo que los demás esperan, ya que este no es un hotel de 4 estrellas, pero la comida es buena (especialmente bife) y viene en una gran parte y personalmente he encontrado la limpieza de las habitaciones excelente. En el hotel, el hotel se encuentra en una zona de gran tamaño, donde el personal de la ciudad se encuentra en una zona de gran tamaño. Para aquellos que se quejan del precio si reservas algunas semanas antes, puedes bajar el precio a alrededor de 59 por noche, lo que es excelente para lo que obtienes. Es de 10 minutos a pie de todas las principales arterias de carretera y en contra de uno de los clubes deportivos más grandes de Escocia si se prefiere un paseo para una sesión de pesos.
