Corfu Pelagos Hotel

We quite liked the hotel and Corfu as a hotel. It is a beautiful island which would be even more beautiful if all the trash was cleaned up and all the abandoned buildings torn down. At the hotel, we had a large room with a large balcony with a great view to the ocean. Cleaning was great. A/C worked very well. The food in the restaurant was nice authentic Greek food that we quite enjoyed. However, before booking there are a few things to keep in mind. The hotel caters primarily to Germans. Some of the waiters speak just German and you are generally greeted in German language. Also, the description mentions that there is a kitchen. There is one but there are no pots and pans or much of anything. There were only plates, glasses, cups and cutlery for two persons. So don’t expect to be able to cook anything. The main complaint were the enormous amount of wasps making breakfast and dinner a difficult and frustrating affair. We were literally fighting them off all the time and in a hurry to eat. Maybe it isn’t always like that but we find it strange that nothing can be done about it. We asked for the faucet to be fixed in the kitchen on our first day there but it was never fixed. We also asked to check out a little later on the last day and kept some food in the room. The cleaning staff was not informed about this and cleaned the room and threw our food in the garbage while we were away from the room.

I stayed at Corfu Pelagos hotel for my solo bday trip. I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff at the hotel were so diverse and spoke a variety of languages, to accommodate the guests from different countries. Everyone was so friendly and always willing to help. The cleaners were very prompt and always ensured the rooms were clean and well kept on a daily basis. I want to give a special mention to Mahmoud at reception, who stayed open till 2am for my arrival (my flight was delayed). He was very welcoming and as late as it was, he willingly showed me to my room and greeted me with a smile. He even gave me some useful tips of how to get around the island. Every Wednesday evening they have a live band perform, who are very entertaining and amazing live! Highly recommend seeing their performance, during your stay. One thing I’d recommend you consider before booking, the hotel is located on a hill. I personally didn’t mind it, but for people who may have mobility restraints, I recommend you contact the hotel directly, to see if they can facilitate your needs. Once again, thank you very much to the owner, Nicoli and the rest of the staff at Corfu Pelagos, for making my stay memorable. I definitely plan on returning in the near future!

the stay was good. the hotel is very elegant. Fully recommend. the service was more than good. they all were very helpful. the view was beautifull. the food was fine. the entartainment program was good. in general very good stay. only the guy serving greek coffee was constantly in bad mood.

We loved this hotel and the people that ran it. We stayed in this hotel last October, although it was right at the end of the season, it was so nice to visit. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and really quite warm. The room was lovely and spacious with a cute little balcony. The food was amazing! Such a lovely selection of foods served for breakfast and dinner. No dinner was the same for the whole week we stayed and we loved every single one! Great location, just a short walk down the hill to the bus stop and not much further to shops and the beach. Well worth staying here if you go to Corfu!

A nice hotel with excellent service. It was our first time in Corfu and we chose this hotel because we could enjoy the beautiful sandy beach of moraitika and be close to the city of corfu. We had breakfast and dinner included at the price. The buffet had everything we needed and we had the chance to experience also the local kitchen thanx to the cook ( who was there to explain the menu always with a smile ). Rooms cleaned every day , big swimming pool with a bar next to it and most of all , two great people , the owners , who are always present and ready to respond to all needs . Om het zuiden van Corfu te verkennen hadden we dit hotel geboekt .We verbleven er 3 nachten . Het hotel ligt hoger tegen de flank en is via een toch wat smalle weg omhoog te bereiken . Best is een Comfort Studio Sea View te boeken . De kamer was ruim met een ietwat gedateerde kitchenette . Goed slaapcomfort . Zowel het ontbijt als het diner waren simpel doch correct . Parking voor een 8 tal auto's Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding zit goed . Fijn , klein zwembad . Wel beperkt aantal ligbedden aan het zwembad . Wifi was instabiel in de kamer Problemen met de TV werden opgelost . Vriendelijke eigenaars .
