First thing I noticed when I entered the hotel was the sign that stated that the pool / sauna area was closed. I was disappointed. I later found out that it has been closed for a long time. The second thing I was disappointed by that there was no elevator. Not a big deal just that I was unable to carry my suitcase up to the second floor. The staff person at the desk offered to carry it for me. Which was nice. I opened the door to my room and noticed 2 things, the room had a smell like spilled milk or something and it was super humid. The air conditioner was running and temp was chilly but still humid. I investigated the AC and pulled out the screens and both were thick with dust. I rinsed them off in the bathtub. In addition to the dust in the screens I could hear water in the air conditioner whenever it kicked in. That told me that the unit was not draining properly. It had been very hot for Minnesota at the time. I did not ask to change rooms being I had settled in already and didn't want to go through the hassle. I informed the desk person of these things upon departure.
One thing I was confused about whs that I paid Trip.com $415 for the room when I booked it and the hotel gave me a reciept for $284.77 when I checked in. ??????
The positives: the bed was comfortable and the free breakfast had a nice variety.
