Moosejaw Inn

Another couple and us stayed here one nite, it was stormy and we just needed a place for one nite, we booked 2 King rooms and ended up with 1 king and a Queen room, we were charged for 2 king rooms, but after finding out the difference they would not give a refund, many things were unacceptable, but the front desk would do nothing, and would not give a refund. The rooms were filthy, (we used towels from the pool to walk on in our room, we had to kill bugs, crickets and moths, in the queen room, the sheets were too small and didnt even cover the mattress, plus the tv didnt work in the queen room. No hair dryers, no iron or ironing board, dirty smelly hallways, next morning went down for the free breakfast at 9am and were told it just closed but heres 4 muffins, because the woman had to go to work at her other job (turned out to be the owners wife) After going down to complain at the front desk, turned out to be the owner, and were told, all we do is complain, and that if we dont like it we should f off, whereby I returned the comment and he came from behind the counter and physically threatened me, and told me if we didnt return the keys he would put an extra charge on our credit card. We are all seniors and have done a lot of travelling, and this has to be the worst hotel experience we have evre had anywher in any country. This place is a blight on this beautiful city. that we have visited and enjoyed several times.

This is an extraordinary stop for the budget minded who expect a clean room, good water pressure, honest value, and friendly courteous service. The people running this establishment have done so for thirty years, raised and educated their children on its profits, and earned the friendship of many of their customers. I enjoyed my three night stay here. You will as well.

Got a room at the Motel, because we have a small dog. Rooms are disgusting, old, dirty falling apart. I now have bug bites on my arms and back. I should have known when we got into the room we had to kill bugs on the wall and ceiling, and bath tub. Went to the pool and hot tub. The pool tiles are broken and there are sharp edges on the hot tub stairs, luckily I noticed it before I cut my foot. Breakfast was really basic, cold cereal, muffin, apple and oranges. And limited to one choice only. The extra $10.00 for a dog should have been a more like 50% off because we were put into the motel, it’s just not even livable. Would not recommend this place, sorry we stayed. I think we now have bed bugs. I’ve been cleaning our items and hoping for the best.

How do they stay open, Moose Jaw health and safety board should be ashamed of them self's for allowing this place to stay open and make money off of people coming into their town and being subjected to this filth. Dose the Health Board not have any standard they go by. The room smelled of vomit, the walls were stained, a lamp on the wall had live wires coming from it, Room 766. I would love to know who they are paying off to be able to keep it open. The beds were shocking, broken and stained. I would not know if the pool is heated ,did not go near it, the lobby was a disgrace. And was nonrefundable. The people staying there were rowdy unkept Partiers. The only kind that would think this place was ok. This place should not only be put out of business, it should be ripped down .AND IT HAD FLIES AND FLEES.
