The Falls Montville

Last weekend, I stayed at Falls Montville with friends, and it was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cozy fireplace added a warm touch to our evenings, and the interesting antique décor made the place feel unique and charming. With 6 spacious bedrooms, each having its own ensuite, we had plenty of privacy. The kitchen was a great size, perfect for prepping our delicious cheese platters. We loved that quality local produce was supplied each morning for breakfast. Alan and his lovely wife were very super friendly and dedicated to yo ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Falls Montville for a relaxing getaway with friends or family!

From the gorgeous fire place, to the magnificent relaxing spa, the comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast. I live in the area but thought myself and my husband would try something different and so pleased we did. The fantastic service from the lovely hosts, Alan and his lovely wife, we could not feel more welcomed or more valued. We would highly recommend and we will certainly be back very soon. Perfect for the romantic getaway or just to get away and relax, the lovely Kondilla Falls are nearby for a lovely bush walk or swim. Thanks so much for a lovely getaway.

Unique rain forest location with everything you would want in your private cottage. Alan and Aryna were fabulous hosts and they were very understanding when our booking needed to be varied due to our isolation in the recent Taree floods. The Falls is very close to the local shops and bar and grill and also handy to the wonderful Kondalilla Falls National Park. Breakfast supplies were plentiful and the personal service was much appreciated.

Upon arriving at The Falls Monteville, we were escorted down a lovely path through the woods teeming with indigenous wild birds singing to us as we walked along. When we entered our cottage, it was exactly as described in both the photos and previous reviews. Our hosts, Allan and Areana, were absolutely delightful. Allen was incredibly helpful with logistical issues and a wonderful resource of local knowledge. Areana made sure that we never went a moment without the things we needed in our room, including but not limited to breakfast items. Every morning at precisely 0815, Allan showed up with locally made fresh pastries, dropped just outside the door with a quiet tap to let us know he was there without disturbing our sleep. If you are looking for a sterile room with no soul, go elsewhere, but if you are looking for a warm place to call home whilst thousands of miles away, rich in history and charm, where you will feel immediately like family, the Falls is the place for you. Due to a miscalculation on my part, we would have likely missed our flight home were it not for Allan who got up at 0400 in the morning to make sure we made it to our shuttle, good luck getting service like that anywhere else and not only that but with excelent humor and good taste at all times. Whether you are planning a romantic holiday for two or planning a family event for ten, the falls can easily accommodate your needs in lovely Montville. Cheers, Micah and Micayla

Close your eyes and imagine you are in a subtropical forest in south east Queensland in a charming little cottage with your partner, catered for by the most generous of hosts, with the sounds of suburbia slipping away. Now open them, you are there, at The Falls in one of six one bedroom cottages, feeling totally indulged and cated for. Thank you Alan and Aryina for your kindness and hospitality, during our stay.

A simply perfect one-bedroom cottage located in a rainforest setting, with all facilities and extra provisions for a wonderful stay. The host was kind generous and extremely helpful, providing service above and beyond expectations. The log fire was set up ready to light, the port waiting in a decanter on the side table, and the fridge was full with local fruit, yoghurts, milk and juice - with everything needed for a hot breakfast together with croissants delivered to our door. Would definitely stay again anytime. Fabulous memories created by a caring host and excellent facility.
