Sky la Rosière by Alpapart

This is the third year running we’ve stayed in Sky apartments, La Rosiere. We love the location and apartments. Always really clean and practical. With a young family, the laundry room is so useful. Bar and bakery is great too. Amazing location. Skiing is incredible and love the ESF events.

Stayed end of Jan / beginning of Feb 2024 in apartment #202 as a group of 13 friends. Apartment was spacious, clean, had free wi-fi with towels and bedding included - was just lacking a tea towel in the kitchen. Free wifi in the apartment, reception and most bars. A boulangerie can be accessed from the ground floor reception area for breakfast supples etc. The additional room key cards we requested did not open the apartment or ski locker doors, so I think they may have some issues in their programming of them, but all the original ones were fine. Excellent central location, close to restaurants, bars, supermarket. Ski boot room was on same floor as apartment, and 2 minute walk up to the piste lifts. You can ski straight back into the boot room which has private lockers for each apartment (we had 4, with ample space for ski’s, poles, boards, boots and helmets). LaBoreal on same level as reception is a good restaurant with downstairs bar, reasonably priced. Cosy pub called Avalanche is well worth a visit too. Le Comptoir bar does good pizza’s but can be loud when music or sport is on. Be aware that the rooms on the front of the apartment block do get the music into early hours when it is playing, and some noise from people returning home from a night out. It a ski resort with apres-ski facilities, so to be expected. Spa facilites were great, swimming pool, jacuzzi (outdoor and indoor ones), sauna, steam room and quiet room. Note that families do not observe the no under 18’s rules though, despite signage around the spa, so you will have children in there. Les Eucherts is a short walk (or ski the slopes to it) and has a courtyard of places to take a lunch break. We used Le Flocon which had good food but is pricey. A ski trip into Italy along the slopes is recommended, and La Riondet on the slopes of La Thuile is excellent value and a great location to stop and eat. The service is very welcoming and excellent food. The Luge is worth a go at €10 per person, but is over far too quickly, with just the one journey down - so get your speed up to enjoy it and don’t brake too often.

Nous sommes partis en famille à 11 personnes. Nous étions dans l'appartement 301 avec une terrasse gigantesque et une vue impressionnante sur les montagnes et la vallée. L'hébergement est spacieux et les équipements/literies de qualité. La résidence est idéalement située, à proximité des commerces, du front de neige et des écoles de ski. L'espace aquatique est un grand plus. Nnous sommes ravis du Sky ! A très bientôt
