Le Relais du Bellay

We spent two nights in this hotel - overall a good 3 out of 5 impression: - polite personnel - nice swimming pool (didn't use it, but it looked well and was taken decent care of) - good location to visit the Loire valley and the neighbouring castles an vineyards - large room with an amazing view negatives: - request for a double bed was ignored (albeit lodged 2 months before check-in) - pillows were tiny and not comfortable at all - WiFi was patchy - breakfast was not the strongest side of the hotel (limited selection - there were just a handful of cuts/cheeses and only one of the cheese was actually delicious, horrendous coffee) - the room seemed to be in an increasing need of maintenance, as there were signs of leakage in the bathroom, and cracks/scratches here and there - there was a forgotten baby bathtub in the wardrobe - the bathroom only was equipped with two pieces of soap and two 20ml shower gels, which were not replenished the next day despite the housekeeping having taken place - broken exhaust in the bathroom

We went as a school to get changed etc. before our concert. We were kindly greeted with homemade/baked goods and water and juice which was extremely kind. They staff were all lovely and more than happy to help in any way they could. The outdoor facilities were very good and very pretty

L’accueil est correct. Demander absolument une chambre avec vue sur château ! Dans ces conditions, le lieu vaut le détour… Nous n’avons pas pris le petit déjeuner car nous n’aimons pas les buffets et qui n’est pas à priori proposé avec des produits locaux.

Cadre splendide en face du magnifique château de montreuil bellay. La demeure est très belle, le parc et la piscine également. Certes, c'est un hôtel particulier du XVIIe donc les chambres sont un peu vieillissantes (mais propres et correctes). L'accueil est plus que parfait, le personnel est très disponible et aux petits soins. De plus, il y a pas mal de restos, balades et visites à faire à pied et/ou à vélo sans prendre la voiture ! Un bon séjour hors du temps...

Très bon accueil et personnel très agréable. Nathalie sait conseiller tant sur ce qu il y a à voir que sur les spécialités culinaires et restaurants. Spa, billard, salle sport ainsi qu une piscine chauffée sont proposes. Un massage fait à la perfection par une femme d expérience. Pour le reste tout est dit dans les différents commentaires.
