There is a charcoal grill you can pull away from the house to use, if desired. The washer and dryer are also located on this level right off the sitting area den. Out the back door of the house is a hiking trail that goes down to the creek where you can take a swim or enjoy the paths around it. You can hike the entire nearby area trails from here with easy access into Montreat or up to Lookout Mountain, and for the more ambitious hiker, Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak on the East Coast. Please note that this is still a family mountain home and it is used and loved by the owners who want to share it with you!
