Terme Preistoriche Resort & Spa

We booked two double rooms for two nights, from 1-3 April 2025. As usual we trust the safe box in the room. As the hotel had SPA facilities so we were scheduled to be at the pool the biggest part of our residence , so we put our valuable belongings in the safe. Last day before check out as we were packing, I checked the safe to get whatever we had there, and some money was missing ! We never touched the things in it till last day! So embarrassing ! I didn’t know how to tell it to the girl at check out! It was happening for the first time in all years of our trips al over the world! We payed our check and I did call them same day and talked to Mr Pietro and he was really nice and he gave me 2-3 email addresses that non of them did work!!!He asked for an explanation email in order to send to administration.after a couple of days I tried to send again the email and surprisingly it was sent! I called later on and a girl answered at reception and told me they have received it. She sent me later a response repeating details of my stay and how much we paid on check out and in return I did send an email explaining again that a euro bill with high value is mssing and they did not respond any more!!! They surely block the email addresses and when accidentally receive one of them they ignore it ! Their safe boxes are not in fact SAFE and this explains why they don’t answer!! I lost a bank note from their safe box that is not SAFE! The worst experience bc they made us not to trust safe boxes anymore!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

My boyfriend and I stayed here in December 2024 just before Christmas and we had an AMAZING time. We were hugely impressed by the hotel itself, which is beautifully decorated, and situated in lovely parkland, and our room, which was spacious and comfortable. The staff of the hotel were all lovely and welcoming. The two swimming pools of the hotel were wonderful, and we enjoyed using the various hydromassage features positioned around the pools. We made the most of the discount offer for massages and we booked four massages each, all of which were carried out with care and professionalism. I’d like to thank Martina in particular for this. We also enjoyed going to the daily aquagym sessions led by Federica as they were great, strenuous workouts. Thank you Federica! Importantly, one thing that really struck me was that the entire hotel, from the pool areas to the bedrooms, was spotlessly clean, so I’d also like to thank the cleaning staff for that. I would highly recommend Terme Preistoriche to anyone looking for an upmarket and memorable spa holiday and I can’t wait to go back.

We visited with my extended family and spend new year’s eve at this lovely place. I have to say the service is excellent, very professional staff. The selected live music was top notch, very good selection of food delicately prepared and served. Rooms are clean and warm, and the pools are amazingly relaxing and inviting. I am definetely going back to revisit and absolutely reccomend it to people who value quality vacations. Excellent! Keep up the good work!

Very nice experience. It’s three different experiences. There are the very nice lodges off the main hotel, which is a very very nice time. Then there are the regular budget hotel rooms. Then just day passes to the pools. The lodges have their own amenities such as aa jacuzzi or sauna or steam room based on which you choose. They also include a bracelet that gives you access to the Nero spa at any time for free. The regular hotel does not come with this. This was a nice surprise and a highlight of the trip. It is a very nice and beautiful spa. The pools are great. Not crowded at all. The pool bar makes a great coffee and snacks. It caters to guests and day visitors. I found the hotel restaurant to be lacking and much preferred walking ten minutes into town for food. I preferred breakfast at the pool bar over the hotel breakfast. The German tourists were big fans of the buffet and beelined for it right in the beginning of dinner.i saw the British, Italians, and other Americans found it off putting that dishes were not refilled after being devoured in the first five minutes and individual orders weren’t really taken in order of when they were sat down, but rather in proximity of the kitchen order. I waited about thirty minutes to put my order in even tho I didn’t really touch the buffet. For those of us who just wanted a quick easy and tasty dinner, it was not that. I did not try the pool restaurant for dinner, it likely would have been a more pleasant experience. Both “mama” restaurants in town were good. Everyone was very nice. The reception staff especially. There’s typical language barriers and things aren’t explained very clearly as in amenities and parking spots and where to go in the beginning, but these were just small hiccups on a nice stay. The day visitors seem to constantly go to the wrong entrance to check in, some signs in Italian would likely be helpful. My only real complaint is the toilet paper. The lodges are an expensive experience compared to the more budget friendly day pass or hotel rooms. But the toilet paper in the lodges was very very rough.

Bella struttura con il suo stile retrò. Ottima accoglienza dal personale della reception che spiga bene il funzionamento e accompagna gli ospiti fino alle piscine. Si percepisce che la volontà è di rendere il soggiorno il più rilassante possibile. Stanza ben insonorizzate, materassi in tantino duri ma poi c’è la piscina con idromasaggio. Ben curati tutti gli ambienti, gentili anche al bar delle piscine, il personale da l’impressione di svolgere il proprio lavoro con passione e professionalità. Colazione abbondante, consiglierei una seconda macchina per caffè e cappuccino (oppure servizio dal bar per hotel simile) e il distributore di succo d’arancia (c’è macchina per spremute ma un po’ laboriosa). Se volete relax questo è il posto giusto.

Parco termale molto bello e ben curato. Personale qualificato e gentile. Ma la mia menzione speciale va a Martina che mi ha fatto un massaggio decontratturante meraviglioso! Mai fatto così bene e professionale! Da consigliare sicuramente!
