Wavecrest Resort

My Husband and I go to Wavecrest every year for our Anniversary in May. This year we went back again in October. We love this place. The views, the indoor pool, and each unit is decorated differently with ample supplies for our use! This time, unit 107 in the overlook building was superb. One of the most comfortable beds, and loved the decor! We love how huge the balcony is. Marla was our housekeeping attendant and so personable and helpful! We will continue to come back!

We've been going to Wavecrest for many years. The investment they've made in renovating the property and rooms is awesome. Good location - close to town. Clean, updated, comfy beds, great location, staff is wonderful, beach is clean and the food truck rocks. It's gone up in price but still our go-to for Montauk.

There is so much I love about this place. I loved the building I was in. Steps from the beach and from an amazing food truck. (wish that food truck didn't close at 3) For anything else, you need to go to town which is a pretty far walk. You need a car. I was also steps from the great pool which is kind of indoors but also feels outdoor with a wide front facing glass wall. The lifeguard, George, couldn't have been nicer. He told me when I should come back at a time when he could take the rope down and let me swim the length of the pool. At the beach, you could request that chairs and an umbrella be set out for you. One thing that didn't work for me was the WiFi. It was spotty and phone calls went in and out no matter where I stood in the room. Since there's no landline in the room, that's great for feeling disconnected but not so great if you're not Thoreau. Also, choose where you want to be carefully. In my case, i loved being on the beach but that does take you further away from the main road which is up a long and steep hill. Not an issue with a car. There's a Hamptons Hopper shuttle but it doesn't always go where you want to go and, again, it's a hike to get it at the front of the resort. It was a terrific stay.

We went last minute and the staff at the front desk were tremendous in helping us find a fantastic room. The room was very comfortable and had a great view of the ocean. We had such a wonderful time we wanted to go back this weekend but they did not have availability. This is our new go to spot in Montauk/Amagsnsett and we have been going out there for 25 years….HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

The location is beautiful and also convenient to Montauk town as well as Amagansett. The suite was very clean and had everything I needed. The deck looks out to the ocean. The staff were all professional and courteous. It was my third time there.

If you LOVE Montauk and cherish Montauk for what it was this is one of the places you can still have all that. Rooms are perfect and clean. On the beach and its just perfect. We have been coming here for years and love it. Highly recommend for couples and families and groups.
