This hotel boasts the worst customer service and incompetent staff in the Hamptons, if not the entire country. In attempting to find someone to assist us in the wake of a family emergency, (one full week before our reservation) the Reservations Manager, Laurie, told us it was "her job" to deny requests for credits and refunds in all circumstances. When we asked to speak to her boss, she told us that her boss is working from Italy and has instructed her not to permit guests to contact him and to deny all requests for accommodations. All of this after the person answering the initial call indicated it likely would not be a problem to find a solution. (We were willing to take a credit, not even a refund -- when the hotel still had a full week to re-book the room.). The OTA wound up giving us a 50% credit (out of its end) because the hotel refused to issue any credit or refund whatsoever. Laurie, enjoy your short career in hospitality (with apologies for using a word you obviously don't understand).
