It was impossible to stay at this hotel. We tried 2 different rooms and one was just as horrible as the other. The 1st had an unbelievable cleaning/fragrance smell so that it burned my nose. We tried opening the window to air out but no luck. Rep gave us another room that lacked the horrible strong perfumey smell but that one was dank, damp and musty smelling. Also the 1st room had mold on the ceiling over the tub. We went back out to tell Rep that we just could not stay there.., I would be sick the next day. She was very nice and said she understood and would accept cancelation when Trip.com reached out for approval. Instead she declined the request. In the meantime we had to find a new hotel and missed a dinner engagement. We ended up staying in a different Quality Inn that at least did not smell although not terribly great either. I need someone with authority to do a charge back to that 1st booking. Otherwuse there is no way I would use Trip.com again. ******* and *********** do take care of users in situations such as this terrible experience!
