The Mudhouse Hostel Mompiche

The best hostel we’ve ever been! We felt like being part of a big family, the hosts were really nice, fun and helpful! Also the volunteers were great, we went surfing together with them and other guests! It was hard to leave the place, we ended up staying longer than planned :D

The property backs onto peaceful mangroves, surrounded by trees, giving it a secluded feel. Located just a short walk from the beach, downtown, and various restaurants, The Mudhouse is conveniently positioned at the quieter edge of town, perfect for those who prefer tranquility. I highly recommend this spot and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Nice surroundings! The people are friendly and the cabins are comfortable, good value for money. I travelled with friends and the open spaces were really nice to read and spend the day outdoors, the town is safe and people around the area really friendly.

Hostel is owned by a really nice family with two little kids. They are very welcoming and it felt like coming home! I stayed during low season for 10 nights and had a “private” dorm room for half of my stay. The kitchen is well equipped and there are three different surf spots on walking distance. Mentally I just wasn’t ready to leave this place!

We had a super little bungalow, with private kitchen and bathroom, outside shower, all of this in a really cool place !! The owners are very kind and attentive of the comfort of their guests. 5 min walk from the beach, 2-3km from the beautiful playa negra. Amazing stay in the cute town of Mompiche ! Thank you !!

I had a great stay! The owners are super friendly. The place is cozy, very clean and has a nice kitchen with lots of equipment. I would defenitly recommend going here :) thanks for the nice stay !
