Ralph's

My husband and I stayed one night to meet up with friends for dinner. The B&B was lovely, felt very welcoming from the start. The room was cosy, warm and decorated beautifully. Had everything you need to make a comfortable stay. Wi-Fi was great. The shower was roasting and water pressure was powerful. The bed was so comfortable. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. We had a full cooked breakfast and I would say it’s probably the tastiest breakfast I’ve had in long time.

... let's get the two negatives out of the way first - the WiFi connection is poor (download speeds ＜5Mbps and varies wildly depending on the number of users at any given time) and - my wife and I gave up after 20 minutes trying to get the TV to do what we wanted! 😒 As for the Hotel itself - don't be put off by the "no one on reception approach" - getting past the front door with the email-provided code works well as does the "what I want for breakfast" list which you have to fill in just inside the front door - the resulting breakfast was excellent. The Hotel has a nice cosy ambience - the nicely decorated rooms provide everything you could need = a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom and nice little attention-to-detail touches. My wife and I enjoyed our one night @ Ralph's 👍

We stayed in Ralph's for my cousins hen. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Hens in Ralph's get use of the garden, the bedrooms in the back of the house, the marquee and the hot tub. It was fantastic as we had our own privacy and didn't disturb any guests who were staying in the front. The breakfast the next morning was gorgeous and all dietary needs were catered for. I couldn't fault Ralph's at all. I would definitely use it for a hen in the future. I would also like to stay as a regular guest as well in the future. Thank you guys so much for making my cousins weekend so special.

Nice guest house but the room we were in in the bed we felt was a small double. Lovely village with cafes/ restaurants so very convenient, also for traveling to places of interest. The breakfast was good and the staff always friendly and helpful

It’s a nice hotel in a small village great staff, Great freshly made breakfast, winter time the room was freezing cold, the WiFi in my room was terrible but my 2 colleagues in other rooms had No problem with the WiFi, checking in gives you a pincode which works great,after this you got a key

We arrived in Belfast at 06:45 and went off to Giants Causeway and explored the area before heading down planned on visited a few National Trust properties but we should have checked as they were closed. Found other things to fmdo and headed to Moira found parking opposite to Ralph's and used the pin number emailed to gain entrance. Would have been nice to have been met a staff member just to say hello. We booked the Stillhouse next door in advance it was OK, definitely pub grub rather than restaurant hearty portions. Mine was big enough for two. We were very tired so slept soundly and didn't need the ear plugs though we were at the back. Unsure as to what was in the Gazebo out the back. The room itself lacks storage a chest of drawers would be essential if you were staying longer as apart from a coat hangers in a hanging area there's no where to put anything. We used the single bed. Also lacking anywhere to put wash bags a shelf over the radiator or hooks would be useful. Shower was not great and looks as if the bath has been damaged cannot recall the cost of the room but some TLC required. Breakfast booked for 8:15 good choice of cereals, yogurts and toppings. Cooked breakfast ample but would have liked something lighter, maybe smashed avocado on toast as it was a bit rich for me. All in all a pleasant stay but maybe only for a night or two. Plenty of places to eat and staff member short blonde hair was lovely.
