What a great place to eat! Staff were very friendly and attentive especially the waiter & waitress that served us. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and looked like it hasn't long been refurbished. Plenty of parking right outside. Won't hesitate to book again when we return to Moffat.

Just had a fantastic weekend with 100 friends and family. Rob, Dan and the staff were excellent, amazing food, served both in the restaurant and function room. Can't thank you enough. I'd give you 6* if I could, definitely 10 out if 10. Definitely we'll be seeing you all again.

Undoubtedly the best meal we have enjoyed in Moffat. The menu was extensive and very reasonably prices. The lass serving was friendly and helpful. The owner made the effort to check we were happy. Just a great experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

We have returned to the Annandale Arms time and time again. It's minutes from the motorway, always friendly and welcoming, and the food punches above it's weight in the menu, the quality and is really tasty. With a convenient car park, dog friendly rooms on the courtyard, and helpful friendly staff (how many times have you been offered a mince pie by a cleaner?!) it's great value and always a relief to arrive. Some rooms are a bit tired, but under new owners they are gradually being 'done up' as have the public areas already.

Excellent dog friendly courtyard garden rooms allowing access to off lead country walking in less than 5 minutes stepping out. Very friendly staff, dog welcome at dinner in the cheerful and modernised bar area. We stayed one night on way up to the Highlands, and booked again immediately for the way back down! Moffat is also a lovely friendly town with amazing walking right on the doorstep.

We had a family lunch here and the service was fantastic The food was delicious I had probably the best steak pie I have ever eaten ,and the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. We all g had a great lunch and will definitely be back ! Would thoroughly recommend

Visited the bar and had dinner. Very friendly, with lively bar and good food. The piped music and staff walking round with earpieces gave it a slightly soulless corporate atmosphere. A bit more old fashioned individuality would be an improvement, but I would still eat there again.

Situated in the centre of Moffat and recently refurbished by new owners! What a great ambience and lovely friendly staff!!! We had such a lovely chilled evening chatting with the locals! Will definitely be back - I would highly recommend!!

My family traveled to Scotland to attend a funeral with most of us staying here. I can’t express how thoughtful the staff were. They accommodated our needs, nothing was too much. I understand it’s recently been taken over and they are renovating, rooms were clean and I can’t wait to see what they are like once renovated. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for making such a hard visit so comfortable. Can’t wait to return on happier times. If you are visiting Moffat this hotel should be top of your list.
