Paradise Beach Club

This hotel was a little tired although very well maintained.it was located directly on the beach with easy access to bars and restaurants, a great location.Staff were very attentive and as found all over Sri Lanka were happy and smiling, a great atmosphere.

'Paradise' is a subjective word... this is a very touristy / package resort type place. We ended up there for 2 nights as part of a group tour. It wouldn't be my usual choice but it was ok. It seemed very busy which made time by the pool off-putting, having to fight for a sun-bed or table. There were a lot of loud kids in the pool, screaming / playing... but not a relaxed environment. Rooms were ok, basic but comfortable enough - we did have to ask for towels 4 times though. The 'beach parties' were loud and the music went on too late. If you like a resort hotel and late night loud music, you might like this. I wouldn't return.

Our stay at Paradise Beach Club was absolutely fantastic, and we believe it is one of the best properties in Mirissa. Located along the beautiful Mirissa Beach on Sri Lanka's southern coast, this hotel truly feels like a hidden gem. The architecture of the property is simple yet elegant, designed to bring the ocean view right to your room. The proximity to the sea and the stunning views make this hotel one of the best sea-view destinations we’ve ever visited. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bedding is comfortable, and the linens and towels are exceptionally clean. The bathrooms are large, hygienic, and well-maintained, which added a lot of comfort to our stay. The hotel features a large swimming pool, which is very clean and well-maintained, along with a kids’ pool, making it an ideal destination for families. The bar facilities are excellent, offering a variety of high-quality foreign liquors, local spirits, and well-crafted cocktails. The restaurant at Paradise Beach Club serves a daily buffet for breakfast and dinner, with a wide range of options including Sri Lankan and Western dishes. The taste and quality of the food were impressive, and we particularly enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan flavors. The staff service was generally friendly and attentive, which made our stay comfortable. However, we feel that the staff could be more cheerful and welcoming, as their serious demeanor at times took away from the otherwise warm atmosphere. One small downside was the exchange rate policy, as the property charges an additional 5 LKR per USD above the actual rate. For a property of this caliber, this practice seemed unnecessary and could be improved. Overall, Paradise Beach Club is a top-tier choice for anyone visiting Mirissa. From its stunning views and great amenities to the delicious food and family-friendly atmosphere, this hotel offers a truly luxurious experience. We highly recommend it for a memorable stay on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

Really good service the staff are really friendly and the overall place is beautiful! Good drinks and vibes and everyone is very approachable when needing any help Would definitely recommend this place to come with your family or partner or on a solo trip

I’m laying here at 11:44pm with music thumping so loud it’s shaking the windows. Read the other bad reviews before you book, they’re mostly correct. I’m really not one to ever bother reviewing as I’m conscious of not driving business away from anywhere which may be having an off day but this place sucks. The music from the beach parties is SO loud, a continuous thump that even with ear plugs I can’t sleep. It’s like torture, keeping me awake. The food isn’t good, meat kept in bay-maries that aren’t even hot. There aren’t many options in the buffet, I really expected more from the pictures. It’s just not worth it, book a hotel away from the beach or better yet avoid mirissa all together, especially in the shoulder or off season when the weather isn’t great. There’s nothing to do other than roam a few dirty shops. It’s not the ‘cool’ travel destination I was hoping to experience at all. Not worth the cost.
