We had two separate stays of several nights at this hotel separated by three weeks. There were some good points, but overall they were just about matched by the negatives. Firstly, the hotel is well located within the safe, affluent neighbourhood of Miraflores, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Also easy walk to local sites such as Kennedy Park, the Indian markets, Huaca Pucllana historic site and the coastal walkway. Other tourist sites in central Lima an inexpensive ride on Uber. The hotel itself has a lot of charm, build around a large central courtyard. The staff also tried to be helpful, though were often not proficient in English, and potable drinking water was always available from a cooler in the bar. That was not always the case at other hotels we stayed at in Peru and more broadly in South America. Negatives: All up we stayed 5 nights and invariably breakfast service was chaotic. Very often things would run out and not be replenished. Not sure if it was just under-staffing but it was an ongoing frustration for everyone concerned. In our first stay, the room was small and basic to say the least, no drinking glasses, bare walls and floor, and a hole in the bathroom ceiling (presumably for ventilation) allowed us to hear conversations from the next room. On second stay we had a much larger, more comfortable room on an upper floor. I should add our queen beds both stays were comfortable.
