Hotel Metro, Autograph Collection

Loni with Valet provides excellent customer service and is authentically kind. The hotel is in a great location downtown. My car is safe in their hands and it is always a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located near a really great salon, Scottsfree Salon, which i go to and utilize Hotel Metro Valet. Thank you and highly recommend.

I booked a 1 king bed guest room for 3 nights while attending a convention at the Baird center. I chose this hotel primarily due to its unique art deco style. The king bed room is a double-size room and offers an incredible amount of space. The bathroom and shower cabin are also quite big for a solo traveller. The bed was very comfortable but the corner sofa and the chair were a bit stiff (think springs rather than upholstery). There's a convenient waist-high table in the room's entrance to put your things on when you prepare to go out or after you come back, and a wide bench next to the bed to comfortably put on/remove your shoes. Housekeeping was excellent. Everything was well cleaned, the towels and water bottles were refreshed every day. I ordered room service breakfast one early morning and it was promptly delivered within 20 minutes. However, I found the food was just average. The next day, I ordered and picked-up breakfast from resturant Brunch located 400 feet from the hotel. It offers a larger and better food selection for the same or lower prices. The mini-bar's snacks and drinks came in handy in the evenings because the only nearby convenience store closes at 7 PM. The mini-bar included a nice variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Getting food delivered to the hotel through Uber Eats or Door Dash is also easy as there is a fair amount of restaurants within driving distance. The Wi-Fi average speed was between 50 to 60 Mbps and it was very reliable. I watched a lot of live streaming during my stay and did not have any connection or lag issues. Self-Check out was available and a copy of the bill / charge folio was automatically sent by email.

We booked our room directly through the hotel website. We received a standard confirmation email and number. And then we arrived at the hotel, the front desk person claimed to have no such reservation on record. Not by last name or confirmation number. The day before check-in, I received my Marriott "check in now" email. So during the confusion at the front desk, I completed my Marriott check-in through my email -- because the front desk person was not offering any ideas for problem solving. He simply kept repeating that he could not find the reservation. Once I completed that email check-in, the front desk person was able to find my reservation. But rather than offering any help or apology, he simply said, "Next time you book here, be sure to book through Marriott instead of the hotel. The two systems don't talk to each other." Which is of course ridiculous. It's not MY problem if the systems don't talk; it's the hotel's problem. And it's not helpful to talk about "next time" if the current problem is about "this time." Additionally, if the hotel has two separate "systems," shouldn't he have looked on both systems for the reservation? Completely unhelpful. And frankly, kind of mean and condescending. The room was fine, but the service was negative. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel was beautiful but service was what really stood out! Front desk and valet staff were amazing and rooms are beautiful. Oggies on site restaurant was good and service was outstanding there as well. I will definitely be back ! Good job!!!

I love this hotel! Stunning decor and vibe. Also, George was my valet and he was incredible! Was very speedy and attentive and assured my car would be safe. Also how amazing that my car was warm! I will definitely be back and I’m grateful for this wonderful staff!

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Metro! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Arjun quickly pulled up our car and parked it right in front of the metro door and assisted us in putting our luggage into the car. He was nice and very friendly and look forward to visiting again
