Premier Inn Milton Keynes Central (Avebury Boulevard)

a classic premier Inn hotel: clean, good value, great location, a bit more than basic. shower was very good, room spacious with little hospitality tray. good to be able to control room temperature. felt secure at all times despite being very busy. also very quiet and had a great night sleep

This is a relatively new hotel and building so the quality of the room was very disappointing. The bed as always was comfortable, however that’s where it ended. The smell of the room was awful, smoke mixed with old perfume, very strong! The plug hole in the sink was full of scum and who knows what else, and then the shower mechanism where it connects to the plug was wobbly and not stable. Luckily I was only staying the one night

Our evening meal was a really good dining experience. Lovely food and excellent service from Yani who made our experience exceptional, thank you Yani. We had beef seasoned popcorn, beef burnt ends and then treated ourselves to a fillet steak with onion rings. On another note,there is no free parking on site. The welcome email said this, there is a big board in reception explaining it and the reception staff also explained not to park outside the hotel overnight. The next morning during our breakfast we could see at least 5 cars with parking tickets on because they didn't take this advice. upto 18.00 parking is 50p per hour, then overnight is free but you must move to the red zone outside the old Indan next door. From 07.00 parking is £2.00 per hour

Please be fully aware of ALL the parking restrictions, most of which are utterly ridiculous. I was advised to park around the corner. This is permit only for employees, 0700-0830, even on weekends when the car park is empty! I obviously fell foul of this and am now having to contest a parking fine (which will likely be unsuccessful). Hotel itself is fine, and very convenient for the station, but they really need to address the parking. I was not the only person to fall into this ridiculous loophole, so it’s a known issue!

Room was lovely and clean. Lots of space to chill out for a few people. The night staff were really friendly and helpful. Paul in particular was very helpful and easy to talk to. Paul made us feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the mk area

We have been staying in this hotel every week for work and college. As a mum and daughter, we have always felt very safe. The rooms have always been clean and very comfortable. The beds and pillows (plus extras when required) are great. My daughter loves the make up mirror lights! It is also really useful to have the Hdmi socket in the wall under the TV. Without exception, the staff we have come across have been friendly and helpful. On one occasion they even spent 15 minutes looking for lost air pods (that were later discovered in my car!) The location of the hotel is ideal. It is near to the restaurants and shops, but not so close as to get disturbance. Parking is a bit of an issue, but the staff are very helpful in explaining where you can park and there is also limited free parking right outside the hotel if you are lucky.
