Travelodge Milton Keynes the Hub Hotel

The location is good and the staff is very helpful. The hotel includes free parking!

The room I was put in did not have a king size bed. The bed sheets were rough, pillows lumpy and the climate control in the room was fixed at 27 degrees and no matter what I did it would not change. The night staff were called and the best they could do was give me two fans. I could not sleep and had problems breathing. I asked for a room swap and non were available. This is just not good enough. The room was dirty carpets dust my room was 409. I would have rather had booked an alternative hotel.

It was meant to be a super room. That's what I paid for! Where each and every feature in their Travelodge SuperRoom™ has been carefully selected to enhance your stay - it wasn't and it didn't! It did however have a leaking in-room Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee machine though! But definitely NO Hansgrohe Raindance 3jet adjustable shower! It was a horrible shower, and the bathroom door looked like a result of a punch up too! And the bathroom looked clean but smelt of urine the whole time. I didn't get a choice of firm or soft hypoallergenic pillows either. No blackout curtains, but they were okay. There was a 32” Samsung Freeview TV and an in-room hairdryer. No iron & ironing board. Travelodge SuperRooms® are NOT the perfect choice with added comforts. But the staff there are lovely. Truly hard workers and always cheerful and helpful. The two breakfast chefs are absolute superstars - Richard and Ricky - nothing was too much trouble for them. The stars that I've given are for the staff alone because the so called Super rooms are like something out of 80s or 90s Butlins chalets! Well done to all of the staff there though 👏 👏 🌟 🤩 ✨️
