Captain Zeppos

Wow! We were charmed the minute we arrived. We booked the Sunset Suite and stayed for 3 nights. The suite is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lots of thought and care went into the design. The decks and views are incredible and the location is perfect. We hope to go back to Milos and would only stay at Captain Zeppos!!

The truth is that I didn’t stay here…. but I wanted to! Unfortunately Captain Zeppos was fully booked by the time I started planning our vacation. We did drop by on a few nights to check it out and enjoy some drinks at the bar. The place is an absolute gem! Every detail, every inch of it has been meticulously thought of and planned. We met Michail who was kind enough to give us a tour. The rooms are gorgeous, the interior design is perfect, and you can really tell that he is proud of what he has built. The bar and pool area are beautiful and the perfect place to enjoy a drink. Michail told me that he takes longer to open each season than other places because they repaint every surface of the hotel each year… and it certainly stands out. The walls are crisp white, the floors are spotless, the lighting is warm and comfortable, the cushions are freshly laundered, etc etc etc. Captain Zeppos is a work of art and Michail is the kindest host you will ever meet. Gave us great recommendations of where to go on the island as well. Don’t make the mistake I made and make sure you book here EARLY!!! When we return to Milos, we will certainly be staying at Captain Zeppos!

We stayed at Captain Zeppos for 4 nights in the rooftop room. The room is big with two separate rooms and very clean (the house keeping is done every day and thoroughly). It is really nicely decorated too and the kitchenette area has all you need if you want to eat in and make the most of your two terraces. Upon arrival there is a selection of local jams, honey and other spreads waiting for you. And with the bread and cake slices on top of that, you do not need to worry about your first breakfast. The hotel location is perfect in Pollonia. Right next to all the restaurants. So all you need to do is flip flop your way down to a selection of fine places to eat. You cannot park right next to the hotel, but there is free public car parc just a five minute stroll away along the seaside. There is also a small convenience store just down the street. The staff is really kind and they will give you tips on which beaches to visit on the island and nice places to see and eat at. Although the hotel does not have have a beach in front of it (there is one two minutes away) there is deck which allows you to access the sea easily for a swim or sone snorkelling.

This is an outstanding boutique stay. The Suset Suite and the rest of the facility are immaculate but it's the amazing customer service that would bring me back. Michail, Kostas and team make you feel like you are a part of the family and take care of you like you are. They recommended and arranged all of our island experiences for us from water to land. The island of Milos, Pollonia and Captain Zeppos were the absolute best part of our three stop Greece adventure! I only wish we would have stayed longer.

This small boutique resort is in the heart of Pollonia Milos. This is a smaller section of the island giving you access to great bars and restaurants without the big port town congestion. The staff at Zeppos are amazing. Everyone was so kind and happy to help with anything you need. The room was beautiful and clean, it came with complimentary local snacks and had views to die for. The resort bar is tended by two lovely people who are happy to sit and chat. I really can’t say enough about the wonderful people that work here. We immediately felt at home with each one of them. And the views… MY GOD. This will forever be our place to stay in Milos. Don’t miss out on this perfect place.

This was such a beautiful and relaxing place. Michail and Kostas were so helpful helping us to rent a car, giving suggestions for dining put, etc. We stayed in the Sunset Suite which was beyond our expectations. Beds were comfortable, interior design was updated on point and we appreciated the extra touches and coffee/treats that they supplied to us. Loved the pool on our deck!!! Kostas and Eliana at the bar were awesome. Paul picked us up and took us back to the airport and was great. I can't say enough fantastic things about staying here. Superb restaurants are just a walk down the street. If you are even thinking about staying here, book it. You will not be disappointed. Many thanks. We only hope to return someday, Michail and crew!!!
