Plum Point Lodge

We were a group of 15, with 9 rooms, we stayed in the hotel/lodge rooms, not one of the six yurts they also have on property. The rooms are very well maintained, clean and comfy. We all had views of Seneca Lake. Being right on the lake, we had an opportunity to enjoy sitting on the dock and in the evenings, around the fire pit. The on-site restaurant, Sepalta, is excellent. Unfortunately, we had one rather large issue, which was no fault of the lodge, a sewage blockade in the morning that affected about 7 total rooms, but management dealt with it and had the issue fixed when we returned. I can’t imagine how stressful this must have been for them!! This is great for couples, a friends getaway, or perhaps a small family. We stayed there for the very serene and peaceful atmosphere, so I was glad there weren’t a bunch of kids running around; it could ruin the peacefulness of the location. They have an outdoor pool, fine dining restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, many additional chairs around the property and on the dock. I highly recommend for a relaxing time, the very good food, the sunrise and sunset, and the great location midway on the west side of Seneca Lake.

Flies in the room. One dead. One alive. Air conditioning broken. Repaired. Broken again. Moved to different room. That one broke as well.

Amazing experience!!! we staying in one of the back cabins/tent “glamping” the cabin was specious, comfortable and have everything we need, we had in room dinner from their restaurant, southwest chicken sandwiches cooked and seasoned just perfectly, and to top all it rained when we went to sleep the sound of the rain on top of the cabin just made the experience even more special.. top 10 for sure!!!!

Property was very nice. Location was amazing. Great views of lake. Close to several wineries. Staff were extremely friendly. Onsite restaurant was very good as well.

The Plum Point Lodge has a beautiful lakeside setting. The feeling is relaxed yet upscale. We had a room with a small living room area (sofa, chair, coffee table) along with the queen bed. The bathroom was separated nicely from the 'living area'. The refrigerator/ freezer was a good size, and the hosts supplied drinking water in the room. Nice touch. We stayed on a cold day, and the heater/ air-conditioner temp in the room was easy to adjust and quiet at night. Large windows gave us a lovely view of the lake from inside the room, and the shades easily blocked out light. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable, even for my husband who prefers a harder mattress. The floor was quite cold and there were no carpets in the room - bring slippers. We could hear other guests through the walls and ceiling. We had received a very strict-sounding email prior to arriving with a heading "Contactless check-in link". The link gave no actual check in information. I would have liked a friendlier tone as a first impression and some information about check in. When we arrived, there were no signs telling us where to go, so we went into the restaurant door which turned out to be the right place. The staff was indeed friendly once we met them in person, and they allowed us to check in early since the room was ready. The restaurant had just-right portions and local farm-to-table ingredients. Coffee/tea/pastries were provided in the morning. The sun-rise was beautiful over the lake.

The staff at PPL are incredible. They provide very professional, upscale, premium service with gourmet dining and beverages. You can tell they care and are motivated by their passion. This is my third stay here in the past 3 months. I will continue to cherish this place.
