Great location - convenient for the airport. Very good food with plenty of choice - Tunisian and European. Rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. Relaxed environment with staff very helpful and accommodating. Easy access onto the beach for walks.

Hotel is amazing,,, Staff are polite and the food has been really good. What really made the trip was the entertainment staff!!, they love to chat and made us feel comfortable and we had such a great time ,,, would really recommend! Pool is big

We arrived Monday 21st April for a week we paid our £21 holiday tax for the week each and shown quickly to our Seaview pool view room by the Porter. Everything was clean food was good and the service fabulous by everyone we met. We were looked after by Jamil and his sidekick whose name I cannot pronounce, but they were fabulous. We were treated like VIPs. Some nights a reserved table with napkin and flower decorations Wine at the ready and very excellent experience throughout the whole week. All staff were very courteous from the towel man the waiters bar staff . No complaints this is the first time we had been to Tunisia and we’re not disappointed generally we’ve been to Cape Verde Maldives Tenerife for our winter sun. We have been very well looked after and would not hesitate to return for a very relaxing chilled out holiday. This is not the place to come if you want to party gout every night but a great place to enjoy the sunshine with plenty of places to get a sun lounge whether around the pool or on the beach the sea is but a stones throw away. There is not a lot of English spoken and not a lot of English people here but that suited my wife and I.

First time at this hotel and Djerba. I cannot fault it at all. Food is great, rooms cleaned every day . Fridge in room is replenished with water, coke and Fanta daily. Tea, coffee in room but no milk which is fine as I brought my own as I know this isn’t big in Tunisia. The animation team are great! Up for a laugh and always there to get people up and involved.

there are so many positives to this holiday destination : great location on the beach quick transfer from Djerba airport beautiful water felt very secure with security presence around the hotel very good dining experience , although the a la carte restaurant was poor service - I wouldnt bother . rooms are spacious , clean with decent beds. complimentary beach towels . large complex , so plenty of room with lots of quiet areas if you wish. hotel staff were great. But , there are 2 big problems : 1..Cats roam the restaurant . I can t believe that a registered 5 star hotel allow cats in the dining areas . One guest was sprayed and the cat drew blood in the restaurant . we asked if they could be removed , which they were , but returned the next night .on one day trip, a cat jumped on the table and proceeded to eat the leftovers next to us. Tunisia, you have to get rid of cats from restaurants. We wont be going back due to this. 2.. local currency exchange rip off. it is illegal to bring Tunisian dinar in or out of the country. you are allowed to exchange at the hotel reception , gain the appropriate receipt which then allows you to exchange your surplus dinars back to your currency at the airport when you leave . This hotel shortchanged my exchange and did not complete my receipt correctly which resulted in me not being able to change my surplus dinars and therefore spending it at the airport on stuff I didnt resaly want or need. It feels like a deliberate ploy to boost their economy.

Wanting somehwere new shorthaul for majority chilled holiday with a small amount of sight seeing i was pleased to discover direct flights from Manchester and booked based on proximity to beach, quality of pool and price which i thought was excellent value for money. On arrival I found the check in process to be a little disorganised but was given a wristband and given access to lunch until the room was ready. At 2pm i returned to ask about my room and was told it was ready. I had been given my pre request of high floor and quiet room however having walked to despite my bags having been taken by the porter on arrival they had not been sent to the room and i was asked to return to reception to pick them up rather than there being sent up. Room 441 was great - had no complaints at all - had sea view room everything worked. Very clean and comfy double bed, sofa and chair, TV doesnt have many UK channels at all (understandable) so bring your own entertainment if you like watching films etc. It is an older hotel with lots of history so it shows it age in areas so if you want perfection look elsewhere but my view is that you dont spend your holiday in your room so wasnt put off at all. If there are waves and you are a light sleeper would recommend some earplugs. Beach where i spent all of my time was one of the best ive been on - sand was clean and kept so, never had issue for sunloungers and water shallow and safe to swim in. Also allows long walks up the beach barefoot which a lot of people took advantage of. (pool looked stunning but a busier area so i didnt bother so in that regard cant comment) If you want drinks at either you will need to go to the bar as service to the loungers not available. Food wise like others posting here food was very good with plenty of options and change in the main buffet restaurant and i ate there with the exception of a night in the Tunisian Ala carte. However the systems of service (and i say this as a brit) need looking at for me - I prefer to tip having received good service and its a shame to say i dont really feel i ever did get it. Those that tipped regularly saw reserved tables , towel art and distinct and noticeable preferential treatment so potentially as a cultural thing id advise tipping little and often to optimise your experience. Staff were friendly enough but i was left feeling like i was an imposition and drinks service i found tricky. Entertainment team including houcem hamrouni were very good at involving everyone regardless of nationality and put on two sets of entertainment per night (live music eg harpist, duos oriental music, karaoke, stuff for kids) and the bar staff were excellent and made sure i was looked after every night i spent in there as a solo traveller. They remembered my name and drinks - Marek, the young lad behind the bar and the older gentlemen are a credit to the hotel.
