Hotel Punta Chiarito Resort

This was my second time staying at Punta Chiarito in Ischia, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The staff are absolutely incredible — warm, attentive, and truly make you feel at home. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The food is delicious and a real highlight of the stay. Everything about this place is exceptional — I can’t wait to return again!

Home away from home. Friendly, caring staff that remembered us from last year. The food was so good and fresh, we felt like this vacation was medically good for us.

This was the best all-round holiday destination anyone could ever ask for. The simplicity of the resort is complimented by unforgettable views, extremely delicious food and the most warm and welcoming staff I’ve ever met at any hotel ever. The hotel is mostly frequented by Italian tourists, which is testament to its authentic charm. This slice of heaven is yet to be discovered by most outside of Italy - so get in before it completely books out! The two highlights of this trip were the food and the staff. We ate like kings, with all meals containing the freshest produce grown on the farm next to the resort. The vegetables were amazingly fresh and the seafood was world-class. We were extremely well looked after by all the staff, who were so friendly and felt like real friends by the end of the week - we were sad to say goodbye. The founder of the hotel, Nicola, was giving away free produce and encouraging us to try all the many products they produced on site (jams, fruit, . Francesco was hilarious, and brightened every one of our mornings during breakfast. Nicola Jr was charming and attentive, and looked after everyone exceptionally at lunch time. Mariano was a fantastic asset to the dinner service, he treated us like absolute royalty and made an incredible negroni (and always with a big smile). We also appreciated Maria, Franco, and Giovanni for their friendliness, attentiveness and care. The room was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was spectacular with its geothermal heating and literal cave built into the rocks. The resort is peaceful, and great for relaxing and resting with no interruption or disturbance from the outside world. The beach is a short walk, with crystal blue waters that beat any Mediterranean destination we’ve ever visited. Anyone would be foolish not to stay here. We can’t wait to come back!

Hotel Punta Chiarito on the island of Ischia has calm and class. It is situated at the end of a promontory at about 70 meters above sea level overlooking the sea with a 300 degree panorama. It is a family run hotel with one part of the family producing products from its biological ecological farm about 1.2 km away. Consequently, meals are served with excellent wine, olive oil, vegetables and orange and apricot marmelade, all made at their farm. The views from the terraces and various spa pools are stunning, so you seldom want to leave. Nevertheless, should you want to get to Pansa, the next town, a 10 minute drive, there is always a hotel shuttle waiting for you. My wife got massaged by Teresa and was very impressed by the quality of the massages. The food, breakfasts and 4 course dinners were incredible. We had a table with a beautiful sea view and Carlo was one of the best waiters ever. When we arrived, at the hotel the first day we were greeted with "Benvenuti al Paradiso" / Welcome to Paradise. And this was not exaggerated.

This hotel is very special.. The staff they have working there are utterly friendly, helpful and especially Mariano. We stayed in the room that had the hot tub which we highly recommend. The restaurant down the bottom is the most beautiful setting and some of the best lunches we've had in Italy. all home grown food. We will go back. Highly highly recommended!

Gorgeous views, 3 thermal pools, the room is clean. Too many steps and hills, not for people out of shape or prone to falls: small children and elderly. Even steps in pools are of a hazard. We knocked our knees a few times. Our room was not even in the main hotel, in their second building , 5 min by car uphill; property provides lifts— but it’s definitely a discomfort. Apparently ( it’s because we booked through booking( dot) com and not directly through the property… Hotel is quite isolated so you have to rent a vehicle to get out anywhere which is what we ended up doing through the hotel. We had a dinner at their restaurant, it was ok, preferred food elsewhere the rest of the stay. There’s a tiny rocky beach waaaaaaay down below accessible by multiple steps… we opted out. This property at a glance was nice and we’ve seen some people greatly enjoy it, but it just wasn’t our cup of tea— too far from shops and restaurants, hotel buildings too far from each other, no sandy beach close by. Won’t return.
