If I could give a ZERO or negative numbered review I would. First of all when we checked in on October 22 the gal at the front desk - MELISSA - ran my credit card twice and both times it declined! Of course I KNEW that wasn't right because I have a $5000 limit on my card, and WHY would I try to use a card that didn't have enough money to pay for our room? So I gave her another bank card that she charged for our entire stay immediately. As soon as she gave us the keys which, by the way she only coded for ONE day when we were there for THREE days... I called my bank. I was told by the bank that the charge DID go through and it ”was the MERCHANT who declined the card - twice”. That the bank had approved the charges and it was ”pending”. SO if my card declined why then is the charge PENDING? It would never have gone through at all if the bank had declined it. So now that means my bank is holding over $335 of my money until it ”drops off” in 5 - 7 days! The gal that we called to discuss this with - ANNA - also verified it would ”drop off” in 3 - 7 days. When we asked her why this would happen she informed us that MELISSA was ”new” so that's why she made that mistake with our card. And also why she only coded our room key for one day instead of three. She also told my husband that the rude kid that answered the phone when he first called (who transferred him to ANNA without saying a word - just dead air until Anna said hello!) was also ”NEW”. Seems to us that this hotel needs to re-train all of their staff. The second thing that happened is that when we checked out on October 25th, I forgot my hanging clothes in the front closet of the suite we rented. It was a denim and mesh baseball hat, two white cardigan sweaters - one of which was new - and a black ladies denim jacket, also new. The reason I forgot is because I had received a call from my cardiologist who had just received the results of my tests (the reason we were in Phoenix in the first place) and there was something wrong so I had to go see him that morning before we left for home. I was extremely nervous and terrible stressed or I would have double checked all drawers and closets, but instead relied on my husband to make sure we had everything. Once we got home and saw that we forgot the hanging clothes and the hat, we called the hotel and that's when the guy put us through to ANNA. We explained what we had forgotten and she said she would check and call us back. She never did. We had to call her back, at which time she said she had gone to room 218 and checked the closets, but there was nothing there. That meant that the housekeepers were the only people in our room since we checked out and had to have taken our items to the housekeeping lost and found. Anna said they had all left for the day but that she would check with them the next day and let us know. Again she ignored us and never called. We had to call the hotel back again. When we called we spoke to ”the manager”, MELISSA?? She sai

Stayed for 2 nights and after reading such mixed reviews I was wary-but there was no need. Right from check in to check out all staff have been super friendly. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the freeway so there was some noise from that but not enough to disturb our sleep. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotless. Breakfast was standard fayre and just enough to start the day

Stayed for Two days -Feb15-17th and paid $664 for a outdated “sick room”. I call it a sick room because anybody who stays where there’s black mold will be SICK!! There were patches of black mold growing on the walls of this old property. My son and I stayed in room 216. I told housekeeping who ( as the overnight auditor claimed) never bothered to mention it to anyone else. The same auditor said that a hockey tournament was the reason why I was kept in that molded room. She said that she smelled the mold immediately when the door opened. But That there were no other rooms available to ME. I questioned that. The mold increased in size and shape. And after I told her that I took pictures of the hole in the ceiling ( who knows why) and the black tape hanging down and mold everywhere ( that I’ve I tried to upload video footage of)…. They conveniently move me, and said that my bill would be adjusted. I experienced headaches and nausea during my stay. If you know anything about mold, you know that it travels in old infrastructure, where there’s wetness. You know that the spores can be deadly because it lives in the body and is a neurotoxin!! It actually affects every part of the body. This entire property needs remediation STOP PUTTING MONEY BEFORE PEOPLES LIVES! Oh, They never discounted my bill at all for the inconvenience and sickness that i experience while on their property. When asked Ashley said they’ll give me some bonus points that I never received! But I did receive a random “ just checking your temperature” call from a Thomas Dubois from Choice Properties. Who apologized and said that he’ll follow up on my grievance. I call ”BS” on Thomas Dubois and Choice Hotels!!! We’ll see…meanwhile AVOID!! P.S. Trying to upload videos, and can’t! Also… there are old rooms and updated ones. They charge same price for old rooms as the new rooms.
