Domaine de la Haie des Granges

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. First of all, no one can be reached by phone all day. After the phone was picked up once, it was immediately hung up again. When I arrived at your hotel, there was no staff on site. Check-in was not possible. I had to look for another hotel. A cheek to disregard someone despite a reservation.

First of all I would like to say that the location of this hotel was amazing, lovely setting and very tranquil and quiet. On first arrival we were very optomistic that we could have a very relaxing afternoon after a 6+ hour drive. If you were to have your wedding here it would be an ideal setting. However when we checked in we were then notified that the restaurant would not be open that evening, however we subsequently found out that the restaurant is not to be re-opened until September due to staff shortages (covid aftermath). As the hotel is in the middle of nowhere there is not an alternative option apart from either driving 15 mins to the next town or going to a supermarket and getting something from there. The lack of restaurant facilities for an evening meal is not mentioned on their website at and really should be so that travellers can make an informed decision. There is not even a bar open that you can get a drink either, very disappointing indeed. However the restaurant was open for a buffet style breakfast which was very nice and included a variety of options. The swimming pool that we were looking forward to using and was one of the selling points to us we were informed that we could not use this until 6.30pm and would cost 10 euro per person. This is also not clear on the website when booking the hotel and usually in the UK this facility would be included in the price of the room. Family were very disappointed with this arrangement given that we arrived at 2.30pm and there is nothing else to do unless you drive to it or sit in your room. The rooms on first impression look lovely but on closer inspection they are showing signs of wear and tear. There were light fittings missing and shower screen missing. There were dead flies on the ledge in the bathroom that looked like they had been there a while. We were on the ground floor and the window would not lock, however the maintenance person came very quickly and managed to fix this issue. However the bed was very comfy and for the one night stay we had a good night sleep. When I booked through *********** I input that we were a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) and was distributed 4 rooms accordingly. However our room was a family room which had two bunk beds in a separate room. Instead of the hotel treating this like a family room they gave us an additional double room and charged us for the two rooms. However we could have just used the one room and paid the additional 25 euro per additional person instead of double the price for an extra room. This would also have meant the the whole family could have stayed together quite comfortably and not been separated. All in all this hotel, spa and restaurant could be amazing but sadly this time fell very short of the expectations that we had due to the lack of information that was provided to us.

Pack cadeau pour mon anniversaire comprenant un massage californien d 1h avec accès piscine hammam sauna jaccuzi et un repas Tout était parfait je me suis bien détendue .L endroit est magnifique reposant .Le massage était professionnel et bien fait un instant purement délicieux. Un repas gastronomique avec des produits frais et locaux délicieux avec de bonnes saveurs . Je reviendrais Je suis conquise

25 novembre 2024 Très bonne cuisine mais la serveuse déjà mal aimable à notre arrivée est très pressée de finir , nous demande à 22h45 de partir car ils doivent redresser les petits déjeuner alors que nous avions à peine fini notre digestif… Dommage… car son collègue est très aimable et professionnel.

Un choix de chambre avec baignoire au final pas de baignoire alors que je l’avais stipulé dans ma réservation.j aurai apprécié que l’on me réponde . Pas de possibilité de fermeture du velux de la chambre hormis grimper sur le canapé. Petit déjeuner correct , restaurant bien et bon .

Domaine très bien situé proche Vernon. Accueil sympathique, et cadre agréable. La chambre était spacieuse mais sentait le renfermé et la moisissure. Extras bienvenus (bouteille d'eau, café, thé...). Accès piscine restreint de 18h30 à 21h pour 10€, sans accès aux vestiaires. Le restaurant est lui excellent !!! Et un petit-déjeuner de qualité pour un prix correct (14€). Un bon petit séjour, juste le bémol pour la piscine.
