On our usual vacation in Gran Canaria in 2022 we were made aware of the impending opening f the 'Ten Suites on the Beach' and subsequently on reading their webpage, we decided to book our 2023 vacation with them. In fairness it has to be said that ascetically that the owners have provided a relaxing and pleasing place. Our suite was quite roomy although lacked sufficient wardrobe and drawer space (we lived out of a suitcase for 2 weeks) and the swimming pool suite which we had booked could cause considerable anxieties for some due to their lack of privacy. We were particularly drawn to this property as their publicity stated 'that one could expect all the services you can expect from a luxury hotel' and that 'we consider our size to be a strength when it comes to offering our clients the best possible service. There was a complete lack of information as to what services were available .'Lunch? - well not today, but perhaps tomorrow and hopefully next week if we have a cook in' 'The Pool Bar?- well it may be open today but it depends on what staff are in. The one service on offer everyday was Breakfast. However, on several days we had to wait over an hour, after sitting down at our table, for ebve4n a coffee or orange juice to appear. We confronted the owners with our concerns describing the the service as chaotic and which they themselves described as 'catastrophic'. Their attention to detail and any concern for our well-being ended there. We arranged a meeting with them on our penultimate day, and the didn't have the common decency to turn up. This property would , in most peoples appraisal, wouldn't get a 2star rating let alone5star and, as such, is grossly overpriced. Take heed - you have been warned!
