Brilliant B&B. Spacious, meticulously cleaned rooms. Delicious cooked breakfasts, with an array of healthier options if wanted. There is also a shared lounge with magazines and toys which was ideal for our 1 year old. Well kitted out for her with cot and high chair. Warm and welcoming hostess to top it all off. Could not recommend more highly.

I booked this B & B to stay following a meal at a nearby restaurant. The whole place was very clean, the bed & bedding very comfortable & plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. I had advised before hand that I would require a gluten & dairy free breakfast which was delicious. The owner had bought in some gluten free bread and almond milk for tea, coffee & cereal. I was also given gluten free sausages. Al in all, it is a charming little place and the owner Beverley, is so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Its was our first time here but definitely not the last, it’s really Cozy and spotlessly clean we received a very warm welcome on arrival by Beverly the owner, they have a car park at the side so no walking as such and your inside, large comfortable bed and a proper full, English breakfast also good choice of cereals and fruit juices. The front garden is like a show garden, Melbourne has a vast amount of pubs, Restaurants cafes etc.

We got a warm welcome from Beverley which set the tone for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more! The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean and pleasant, and Beverley had put lots of lovely touches in the room and bathroom …. KitKats and shortbread with the teas and coffees (flavoured coffee too!), lots of toiletries in the bathroom, big fluffy towels, lots of hangers, an iron and ironing board in the cupboard, and a tower fan for those warmer nights. The breakfasts were spot on … a good range to choose from and utterly delicious. There’s Sainsbury’s literally 30 seconds away, and if you’re going racing at Donington or have a flight to catch at East Midlands airport, this is the place to stay. It was a very short, easy drive to Donington and the airport is minutes further on. Five stars from us!

Stayed here for one night as it was close to the Melbourne Hall Tearooms where I was attending my Grandsons Christening party. When I arrived the Owner was friendly and helpful. My room was on the ground floor overlooking the front garden. Very clean and comfortable, quiet on an evening. Good hospitality tray. Iron/board, hairdryer also in the room. Free WIFI. Breakfast was good too. Choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts plus bacon, sausage egg etc. Coffee/tea and toast served from 8am to 10 am on a weekend. Times may differ during the week. Car parking is available I would suggest you reverse in. Plenty of nice restaurants and shops. Nearest Railway Station is Derby with a bus service running to Melbourne approximately every hour. The bus stop is in front of the Coach House. I enjoyed my stay and hope to return soon.

B&B in the heart of Melbourne. Rooms clean and nicely done. I stayed in Room 2, which was very spacious indeed. Beverley (the owner) is lovely. Very helpful and cooks a very tasty English Breakfast (other breakfasts are available). Great location if you are racing at Donington Park, as it's just down the road. Melbourne itself offers a good choice for dining out in the evening. At £230 for 3 nights I think The Coach House offers very good value for money. Off road parking available.

We made a last minute booking to the coach house as it was ideally placed for a family wedding at Amalfi White. The owner was so helpful when she greeted us early and helped us to park in the small car park Passing us keys and telling us to have a nice time when we eventually arrived in our rooms following the wedding we were not disappointed the beds were large and comfortable the shower powerful and the room well equipped with all the little touches it had been well thought through. We got a very cheery welcome for our early breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Beverley, the owner was outstanding and her property delightful. Will be back in December to sample the festive delights of this charming town. It is a small town but has plenty going on and is only a short journey from Derby so well situated.

Absolutely amazing place! Great welcome, excellent rooms and beautiful breakfast! Rooms were an excellent size and we had tea's, coffee's, toiletries and biscuits in the room. We will definitely be coming back again!
