We stayed here for one night in the last week of Dec 2023. The property is pretty good for a short stay. Location: Walkable from the Sun temple. I’m assuming majority of people staying here will be doing so on the backdrop of Sun temple visit, in that sense it’s the best possible location. Even otherwise, it’s just 600-700m from the highway. Parking and other amenities: Lots of parking. Pretty big lawn and green open areas. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t see or use. Rooms: We stayed in the Bhunga. We took four of them and each one of them had their own character, while size and amenities inside were the same. Standard and Super Bhunga are same except some decor change and the latter being air conditioned while the former have just an air cooler. The room is fairly basic and small in size. There is a side table for keeping water kettle and bottle etc. There is a half size cupboard to keep loose items however there is no space for keeping the suitcases. It has to lie on the floor or on the plastic chairs provided. The bed is queen size and can sleep only two comfortably. We were two adults and two children and couldn’t have slept on the bed. They provided extra mattress on the floor for which we were told to pay 700 by the staff, however, the manager Niranjan Kumar waived the charges. He is a hospitable young guy. Food: Dinner and breakfast was part of the package and the food was tasty. Hit aloo parathas in the morning were truly awesome!
