Our luxurious mountain haven offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, our home can accommodate up to 10 guests, making it great for family vacations or a peaceful getaway with friends. There’s even a full-size washer and dryer up to the task of handling laundry for a crowd. The heart of the home lies in its grand kitchen, which seamlessly flows into the open living and dining spaces with a soaring cathedral ceiling — ideal for creating cherished moments. The inviting living area, with its ambient mountain vibe, becomes your cozy nook lit by firelight at night. Entertain with ease, thanks to the dual BBQ setups, a crackling fire pit, and a soothing jacuzzi. Indoor entertainment is plentiful as well, with a foosball table, Xbox console, board games, and complimentary Netflix connectivity courtesy of high-speed internet. Living Areas When the family comes together, we know everyone needs space to hang out and indulge in their favorite activities. With two living areas plus a basement lounge, there is more than enough room to gather a group or find a quiet nook to decompress. Our home offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With plush furnishings, warm wood accents, and rustic decor, you'll feel right at home. The open and bright main living area will take your breath away. Unwind on stylish and comfortable couches and chairs while gathered around the rock fireplace and reconnecting with friends or family. During the day, sunlight streams in through a wall of windows, with mountain views that will knock your socks off. It’s a space that’s made for conversation and relaxation. The sitting area in the loft can sleep two on the pull-out couch or be a hangout spot for the kids or anyone looking for a cozy spot to nap or get lost in a good book. Enjoy the peacefulness of this tucked away space with floor cushions and decorative accents that give it a “zen” vibe. The lower-level lounge is where the party is every evening! With a TV viewing area complete with surround sound and the comfiest sectional sofa ever, ping pong table, foosball, Xbox, and a high-top pub-style seating area there’s no need to leave the house in search of entertainment - you’ve got something to please everyone right here! Kitchen & Dining Head to the kitchen with gleaming stainless steel and gorgeous wood cabinetry. A holiday meal for 10? No problem! Whip up anything from home-baked bread to nachos for movie night in the spectacular full kitchen. A complete suite of high-end appliances awaits to turn your culinary dreams into reality, including a double oven, under-cabinet microwave, glass cooktop, French door refrigerator, coffee maker for your morning caffeine hit, and a dishwasher for easy clean up. Dishware, cutlery, and kitchen tools are all available to make for a carefree cooking and dining experience. Pull up a one-of-a-kind hand-shaped stool to the counter for a quick breakfast before you head out for a day of adventures. For a more formal meal, sit at the dining table in the airy living/dining area, where inspiring mountain views make every gathering feel special. Bedrooms & Baths Envelop yourself in the tranquility of the primary bedroom where style and comfort meet to provide a restful sanctuary at the end of a long day. Nestle into the king bed and hit snooze to get some extra sleep on a premium mattress with luxurious bedding. Catch up on social media in the seating area with leather chairs and an accent table. There’s even a fireplace to make the nights a little cozier. Greet the day from the deck with private access through glass French doors that let in the sparkling morning light. With a closet and dresser, there is plenty of clothes storage for an extensive vacation wardrobe. The ensuite bath will blow you away with the beautiful tile throughout, as well as the unique design. Get ready for the day in a massive glass wall shower with complimentary toiletries. A giant mirror over the vanity with bright lighting makes for perfect makeup application! There’s even a European-style bidet to complete the spa-like ambiance of this room. The 2 additional bedrooms boast cozy queen beds with elegant bed linens, closets, and modern decor throughout. The guest bedroom on the main level also has an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and a single vanity. The lower-level bedroom is a suite with a comfortable sitting room and an ensuite bathroom. The third full bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower. Outdoor Amenities The moment you see the house for the first time will be a “take your breath away” kind of moment. The rustic architecture is laid back, but definitely not humdrum, and its location, surrounded by lush green forests and the Blue Ridge Mountains will have you in awe. Enjoy a sunset from the wrap around decks or even better, from the bubbling water of the 6-person hot tub. Soak in the warm waters while you take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Or take in a vista of starry skies from the warmth of the firepit with plentiful seating in Adirondack chairs. It’s the perfect spot to hang out with the gang after dinner. Grill up a feast on one of two gas grills and then dine in the fresh mountain air at one of several outdoor dining sets. Vacation doesn’t get better than this! Take a hike through the private trails surrounding the property and discover stunning waterfalls hidden within the dense forest. Enjoy a picnic by a waterfall, or simply soak in its beauty and sounds as you relax in one of our many outdoor seating areas. Endless adventures await just minutes from our doorstep. From hiking and biking to fishing and kayaking, there's something for everyone in Old Fort. Security Cameras are on the outside of the house (at the front door and perimeter) and are recording during a reservation, NO cameras are inside the home or have a view of the inside of the house. Noise detection sensors installed at the property – These devices monitor decibel levels at the property 24 hours a day and automatically notify us if noise levels are too high.  Noise is monitored in common gathering areas both inside the home (living room) and outside (around the pool).  This only detects volume, not actual conversation.
