The Zarafa

My friend and I booked a trip through a safari company and the first leg of our trip included two nights at the Zarafa. The photos of this accomodation looked amazing and when we arrived it exceeded our expectations. The staff and the owner were the most accommodating to our needs and organised breakfast to go for us on our early morning safari drive with some blankets. The villa itself is stunning and spacious. I wish we could have stayed at this beautiful place longer however we had to transfer to our next accomodation booked by our safari. I 100% recommend the Zarafa to anyone thinking about staying here, just booked it, couldnt recommend it enough!!! I will definitely be returning, thank you for an amazing stay Zarafa.

Stumbled across this Balinese style private pool villa resort when looking for our last night up around Kruger airport. Just as per the photos it was as impressive in real life as on your computer screen. Our villa (4) was well equipped with everything you needed, including the pool. You can tell the owner has travelled and is well traveled as it had everything I've given feedback on other hotels to improve upon or do better - I can't fault this place at all. The staff were wonderful from arrival to us leaving. From our 6 course dinner - where our dietary needs were taken care of months in advance of arrival and remembered, to the complete English breakfast in our pool villa cabana, to the in-room amenities such as the multi-faucet shower, all the Satellite channels (I watched a rugby game live), and the his/hers bathroom and other in-room amenities to the complimentary car wash on day of departure, it made you feel truely special. I would say this was our highlight of our trip and looking back I wish I'd booked a couple more nights here. Would strongly recommend this to all travellers looking for affordable luxury in Hazyview.

We had an AMAZING stay at Zarafa. It was peaceful, luxurious, private and so beautiful there. We especially loved our private breakfast at our villa and the multi-course dinner was outstanding every night. Our attendant was Timmy and he was incredible and so kind. We would absolutely stay again if we have another opportunity to do so.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at The Zarafa. The villas are placed in a way that accords you total privacy. You are in your own little cocoon. The food was so delicious and irresistible and we gained more kilos than when we first arrived. Barry and his staff were very welcoming, made us feel at home and very special. We will definitely be visiting The Zarafa again.

The Zarafa was paradise. Quaint, intimate, and exactly what’s needed to unwind. The staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating. Each villa has amazing decor, and the staff is very attentive. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is it! The food is delicious.

We have visited many places in this valley, but Zarafa blew us away. Barry and his team is incredible. The rooms are beyond anything we have ever experienced with incredible infinity pool. The food was just beyond 5 star quality. A must for anybody and add Zarafa to your bucket list today.
