"I stayed at Niira in Mirissa and honestly, I fell in love with the place. The beach is just a few meters away – you take a short walk and you’re right on the sand. Perfect way to start the day. The rooms were super comfortable, clean, and just really cozy. But my absolute favorite part was the pool area – beautifully set up, calm, relaxed vibe… The staff is incredibly friendly. Not the fake “hotel smile”, but warm and caring people. The food is amazing, and definitely made with love. And here’s the part that says it all: I planned originally to go on a round trip and only planned to stay 3 nights. And then… After one night in another hotel in Yala, I decided to cancel my round trip and came back to Mirissa and stayed in Niira for another 4 nights. I felt so good there! That should tell you everything. If you’re coming to Mirissa: stay here. Really. I’d go back as soon as possible. 🌴💛"

"As the first person to write a review, I'll say right away: I absolutely recommend staying here! This hotel is wonderful in every way, from the service to the secluded atmosphere. The breakfasts are excellent – even with just one main menu, there's still a good selection. I was surprised by how well-stocked the room was: I'm not talking about the mini-bar and drinking water, but the bathroom, which has absolutely everything you need, including perfumed toiletries. The conditioner, shampoo, body lotion, and scrub are all fantastic quality. The room is incredibly spacious, and the shower is wonderful. It matches the photos and description 100%. I want to thank the staff for their hospitality, the manager and owner for their smiles and morning chats, and the chef for the excellent cuisine and for helping with a special personal request. It's very close to the coastline, with restaurants, beach clubs, and shops nearby. It was my first time in Sri Lanka, and I have to say, in some ways, I liked this hotel even more than the island itself. Rating: 10/10. I will definitely be back!"

"We can highly recommend Villa Hill Crest. Beautiful location on a hill, 10 minutes drive into Weligama town by scooter. Great outdoor pool, spacious and clean rooms with balcony, comfortable bed, clean towels. So enjoyable to stay there! The staff was going to great lengths to fulfill all our needs. The owner is very professional and truly dedicated to create a beautiful and memorable experience for the guests. There was a bonfire near the pool every evening. Everybody workingthere is very polite and friendly. We also like to commend on the food and the chef’s skills. Everything always freshly prepared! We liked the seafood platter lot. Nice Italian coffee. All in all it’s really a highly recommended place to stay at. We will come again."

"Hello, I would like to share my experience. Hotel UTMT is the most comfortable place in Sri Lanka, people, massage, food, accommodation, everyone will do their best for you, I can only recommend it. They are like my second family. In the course of 2 years, I returned to this place 6 times, in January 2025 I wanted to return 7 times. There was a problem here, namely incredibly bad communication with the manager at the reservation department, not responding to e-mails, even for 2-3 weeks, then again waiting for further responses. As a regular customer, I received the highest prices when planning 7 visits, I didn't feel welcome at all, I wanted to book a specific room (which they sold to another customer without my knowledge! and they convinced me to cancel the reservation) after 4 weeks of extremely bad communication , the manager advised me that it would probably not be appropriate for me to visit their hotel and that I should reconsider my visit. And he offers a room that doesn't have a view, or the right location, and a high price, and you think it's okay. A NONSENSE customer who spends more than 28,000 euros in their facility in two years is not welcome? The owner should think about whether such a person is in the right position, I believe that the owner will deal with my complaint, because he is losing good, loyal customers. I am extremely disappointed with the approach and communication with an existing and regularly returning customer, such communication and failure to solve the problem is unacceptable."
