I recently stayed at New Seabury on September 25th and while the location and amenities are wonderful, my experience with their customer service left me disappointed. Unfortunately, I mistakenly left a very expensive face cream behind in my room. I realized it shortly after checking out and emailed the hotel that same day. When I followed up with a phone call the next day, I was told the item wasn't found in the room. I find it difficult to believe that it simply disappeared, given the exclusive nature of the club. While I understand that mistakes happen, I expected better service from an establishment of this caliber. A simple effort to investigate further or show a little more concern for the situation would have gone a long way. It’s a shame that such a beautiful place doesn't match the level of care in customer service. I expected more and am very disappointed.
