Harbour Lodge

Bit of a second rate experience ,the breakfast Croissants were far from fresh ,Breakfast was as basic as it gets ,The shower was years old and was that blocked there was hardly any flow ,French Windows on the room didn't fit and left a draught in that made the room cold . Had a prob with the Internet tv that was sorted after 4 of our 9 days stay then we had no Internet that was finally restored after owner got hostile . We expected a lot better

Good hotel,convenient price and location.very helpful .accessible from bus station .near the Corniche and the port of valletta.they offer discount in good restaurant and airport transfer .I highly recommend

A comfortable room with a small balcony in a terrific position with the bus service a mere 30 seconds away. We wanted a budget hotel, this offered a continental breakfast. The rooms are air conditioned, with a kettle, fridge and good TV. A free airport shuttle service there and back. Great value for money, the owner was helpful. Your room will be cleaned every day as required. It's close to the seafront with a huge range of restaurants and a terrific open Market on Sundays, though every day has a market. Great for fish lovers.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Harbour Lodge. From the moment we were collected at the airport (after a 3 hour flight diversion with no complaints from the lovely driver) we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owner. The hotel is bright and airy and we had a beautiful view of the harbour from the balcony. We were worried before travelling as some of the reviews weren’t great, but it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience, Due to the heatwave a power outage occurred during our stay but it was handled extremely well by the owner, Mario. We ate at the restaurant on the harbour front which is connected to the hotel and again the staff were amazing, Rodrigo is hilarious! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

I must admit that I was not satisfied with the accommodation. The maids and the lady at breakfast were very nice and kind, but the breakfast itself, what is offered for breakfast is very poor, weak, every morning the same two types of salami and the same cheese. One cup of coffee, you can't top up the coffee, there are no scrambled eggs, bacon or the same as it is prepared, so just slices, butter and marmalade. As for the room itself, that's the part that shocked me, the bed is 140 wide and the mattress on it is 160, so you fall on both sides if you're on the edge! The floor was not cleaned in the room, there was no water pressure in the bathroom, the shower barely leaked, a show for washing my hair 😭. And finally, the price included transportation from the airport to the hotel and back when it was our last day. They managed to forget about us that they needed to take us to the airport when we were leaving, even though we agreed twice with the staff, we waited for 30 minutes and then they sent us an uber/bolt to transfer us. All in all for 4 stars, bad.

I basically wrapped it already up in my review title. Pre-arrival communication via messages was good. The room was ok and calm during the night. I got woken up by the staff's continued shouting conversation through the entire house before 8 and a neighbours chain saw. The breakfast was extremely low quality. The staff otherwise friendly. Not worth the price

Wir haben 10 Nächte in der Harbour Lodge verbracht. Die Lage ist ein Traum und das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider ist das Hotel schon etwas heruntergekommen, die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Das Frühstück ist mehr als ausreichend. Alles in allem aber für budgetfreundliches Reisen geeignet.

Non ho mai avuto la sensazione di sentirmi a casa come qui da voi! Ho alloggiato per qualche giorno con mia madre e devo dire che la vostra accoglienza,disponibilità e accortezza mi hanno stupito! Dalla pulizia delle camere alla colazione abbastanza ricca, il servizio di trasporto da e per aeroporto, ottimo! Umiltà e gentilezza mi avete fatto sentire a casa!!! "Il Ragnetto" lo trovo anche a casa mia!!..quindi non badate a chi scrive queste cose. Ogni giorno ci pulivano la camera con asciugamani puliti lenzuola pulite bagno pulito, Non è da tutti! Complimenti ragazzi un abbraccio da Roma!

Tutto buonissimo, personale gentilissimo e cibo ottimo, vista mare top anche se per il tempo siamo stati costretti ad entrare dentro ma questo non ci ha fermati dall’ assaporare le loro delizie, finalmente un caffè eccellente, e ci hanno anche offerto il liquore.
