Hoteles en Maroochydore con Wifi

The hotel is quite new and on a developing business park for the new CBD for the Sunshine Coast. There is some construction of other buildings nearby even on a Saturday.l but not on Sunday. Check in was super efficient. I arrived early but as the room was available they let me check in before the standard check in time. The reception staff were super helpful through my entire stay. The room is small but well designed to make use of the space. It's perfectly functional for a short stay. I liked the seating area and table. The blackout blind was really effective. The view into the carpark wasn't great but the end of the corridors had views to the sea and CBD construction. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. The TV has standard terrestrial channels and chromecast. The wifi works well everywhere in the hotel. The rooftop pool is heated and you can catch a little bit of a view at sunset. The gym is small but has really new equipment and a view south along the coast. There is a $6 happy hour daily in the lobby on certain beers and wine. The breakfast buffet is decent and even though some things run out quickly the staff try and replenish as fast as possible. The coffee machine also made decent coffee. On the weekend the CBD area is quite dead. There were lots if nice looking cafes and bars that are only open during the week in the day time but some opened for dinner. Sunshine plaza and the Cotton Tree area are an easy walk with restaurant alternatives.

The best part is the pool, although it is not heated. The spa was stone cold unfortunately. Unknowingly we were allocated a unit up 3 flights of stairs and our view was of skyscraper buildings across the road. The beach was across another road. The unit was spotless but only a few miserable tea bags, sugar and coffee. One piece of soap and one dishwasher tablet. One set of towels. What would have been useful is instructions as to where to put rubbish (in a basement garage) how to operate the opener for the garage and gate. THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE is for kiwis to have a phone that works in Aust. We arrived in the dark only to find an Aust mobile number on the gate. In the end I had to shout until another occupier heard us to let us in. We worked out the keypad number was the post code plus hash. The beds were comfy but very soft. The unit was spacious but a ground floor one would be my pick. We would stay here again as it is in a handy spot but quiet. The reception is only open 8 to 5.

We had a room about level 7 with an uninterrupted 180 degree Ocean view. We could see the ships on the horizon, up to 10 at a time, coming and going. A set of binoculars would have provided better identification, so take some with you. Closer up the beach and waves with locals seemed a popluar place to be. There was a good walk along the path north with some interesting spots and not too far from Sunshine Plaza, the big shopping centre in Marrochydore. The 2 bedroom apartment was great, plenty of self catering utensils and equipment if needed, we had a good time for the 5 days/nights..

La unidad estaba equipada y muy grande con un salón combinado/comedor, una cocina separada, un lavadero con un baño separado, un baño con baño separado y una ducha sin baño y un baño con ducha (buena presión), El hotel dispone de una habitación de 2 habitaciones con camas de tamaño real (comfortable) y espacio en los armarios. En la cocina había un refrigerador de tamaño completo, un horno, una cocina, un microondas, un lavavajillas, un caldero, un tostador, etc. y suficientes cocinas, pantalones, cocina y cuchillos. Las dos partes de esta unidad son que se siente como si estuvieras en un cubo de pescado, ya que las unidades alrededor tienen una buena vista a la cocina, sala de estar y balcón. El segundo fue que el WIFI no existía. Hemos reemplazado el router en una fase, pero esto se ha demostrado ser sólo una fijación temporal. Los administradores de Strata, Coral y su marido, fueron muy agradables y útiles. No utilizábamos ninguna de las instalaciones del complejo que incluían una piscina y una sala de juegos.

Gran vista agradable ubicación

What I liked: we were on the 3rd floor, and the apartment had full length windows on two sides, so the views over the city were amazing, particularly at night when the city lights up. It was very spacious and new-looking, fully equipped; king bed; smart TV that you could pair your headphones with to avoid disturbing others; TV in the bedroom as well as in the main area; the ensuite had a real door (I have a pet hate for sliding bathroom doors – so noisy!) had a large shower with hand-held shower head with good water pressure; secure car-parking underneath. Not only did it have a dining table and chairs inside, but the balcony had a large table and more chairs. Location is just great, an Italian restaurant on the doorstep, Thai to the right, café/pub bar to the left, all within 5 minutes. And just round the corner still within walking distance is Ocean Street, which has many many restaurants to choose from. Traffic noise during the day, but not a problem at night as Maroochydore does not have much night traffic. Not so good: the ensuite had no hooks to hang anything; no shower caddy so your shampoo, soap etc had to be put on the floor; the towel rails were inadequate for more than one towel. A safety rail in the shower recess would have been appreciated. Only two pillows on the bed plus cushions, extra pillows would have been better, I never see the point of cushions on the bed.

FANTASTIC. Las habitaciones son enormes y el calor en el cuarto fue un tratamiento tan grande! Las vistas al océano son magníficas.. Cerca de un café realmente decente por la calle en el Coffee Criminal. Sólo 5 minutos en un Uber a todos los grandes restaurantes y bares vibey en The Wharf en Mooloolaba. La Plaza de la Sol en la calle para todo y más que nunca... Ocean Street en Maroochydore para bars, gigs y vida nocturna si usted está en la ciudad para una noche divertida también! No pudo fallar. Se quedará aquí de nuevo, las habitaciones fueron lo suficientemente grandes para acomodar nuestra fama y incluso Nanna! Los niños sólo amaban la piscina y el spa abajo. 10/10 Recomendar The Sebel Maroochidore. Gracias por una gran estancia!
